At least players and management at Sunderland - Britain's most depressing "city" - can live in Durham or Newcastle. Don't suppose Manchester players fancy living in Liverpool or Blackburn ? Live in Liverpool? Doesn't seem very practical with great parts of Cheshire on their doorstep. They might fancy living in Liverpool though since the crime rate is lower than Manchester and it doesn't rain so much. You never know. Some lovely places in the south end, don't suppose you've ever set foot here though. I know Torres & Reina live in Woolton and Cahill lives in Calderstones which are both in the city proper. Most of them seem to live on the outskirts in Formby though. (that's another nice place in the north west you haven't got a clue about) I've never heard of burglars breaking into footballers home in Liverpool, but in Manchester though... N'Zogbia has been pretty good when given the chance to play up front, better than Jonas who looks a bit out of place in the striker role.. From today's performance, I can't see any reason why Jose shouldn't start on Saturday against Arsenal. Oh, and Geremi really isn't a winger, and Guthrie hasn't been on his toes either

It have taken me three years to get it, but tonight after I saw the interviews with both Keegan and Owen I realised that Owen is a Newcastle player. We're very fortunate to have a player of his calibre here and need to do everything in our power to keep him here. Even though he has lost his legs he's still lethal in the penalty area and and he's someone who can guarantee us goals, his record can prove that.

How is the number and lettering supposed to be on the back? Just got mine in the mail today and I thought it was going to be like on the home shirt, plain and plastic-ish or how you would like to describe it, but my #18 Jonas is more "padded" like the Newcastle Brown Ale logo used to be. Ordered the shirt on the nufc.com site instead of the official club shop due to shorter shipping if that makes any difference? Edit: Just compared it to the home shirt which I bought from .co.uk last year and the numbering and lettering is a bit bigger on the away shirt, which is the older lettering font. But here's something strange, they changed the design of the lion at the same time but on my new away shirt I've got the new lion, even though the rest of the lettering seems to be out of date. I'm a little bit lost here...

Never been on a Stoke forum earlier but it sure was a interesting experience. Every single person who posts on there seems to have been at the training ground and having a chat with Faye. Must be equal to the spurs boards on the number of ITKs.. On the deal itself, not thrilled about him leaving but I'm sure we've got someone better lined up. Faye is good, but not great. That said, he is the best centre half at the club bar Coloccini. About his wages, it can't be ridiculous can it?
