Mackem On OTB Reckons Cathcart Is Coming To Toon.

Erm you are wrong. There are many reasons why a player could have an underlying injury or problem that could lead to a failed medical and yet the player could play a few days later. Why do you find it so difficult to admit you're wrong? As James rightly points out if there is a worry over insurance the transfer won't go through. -

Do you think Ledley King would pass a medical? It was something to do with him recently having knee surgery a few months ago i think. What a rediculous statement(and attempt at quoting) Ledley King CANT manage 2 games a week for gods sake its a totally different situation to this. Sorry about the quoting error - the problem was quickly ameliorated. The point was that there are people who would fail medicals and then play 4 days later. Whilst we're at it 'rediculous' (sic). Sort yourself out before acting in a condescending way towards others. -
So Redheugh, what do you think the craic is with this?

Failed his medical according to the Journal -
That Wenger is going to resign tonight?

Does he still have the legs at 32? I dont think there is a lot more to his game if he has lost it. Last time I saw him was missing from 6 yards against the mackems for Stoke. Probably no bigger gamble than Harewood, although i'd rather take the latter now we have lovenkrands back. Both Camara and Harewood are badly out of form and needing a new club. .com say he is 30

This was breach of contract though
-
I sense a bit of a conflict of interests building up on this thread....

Aye. People need to be very careful about their pre-planning for getting to the games. I imagine it isn't too difficult to know whether certain games have already been considered for TV coverage or not. Yes the Football League has a full list. Up to the end of October when I looked last week. This is a real kick in the nuts though as it ruins another chance to take in a Blackpool trip

I've never been wetter than on that night. I was pleased with that result too -
He didn't say he was right though did he? Someone said that Icke might have been ruining his rep by saying the deal was done and Redheugh said he wasn't ruining said rep.

They overpaid on everyone bar Beye (and maybe Collins at a push). I'd probably agree with that, assuming you've not mentioned that free Coventry goalie because he was free. Aye - a bit harsh on Andy Marshall

Carroll is a beast in the air - very useful at this level.

He done a good job in difficult circumstances. . Spot on, and a lot of promise was shown for the future. Not sure anyone is saying too much more than that. I might have been a little hyperbolic in saying superb - but we haven't had too much to get excited about recently have we?
-
Spot on mate Indeed. No one is saying that he was Drogba. Just that he did an excellent job in difficult circumstances, and all from a debutant. Maybe I'm just easily impressed but he sure as hell didn't look intimidated to me
-
Dave! Dave! This is what I'm talking about! See?! Sorry?
-
Get out. He was superb, linked up play beautifully, was strong and in difficult circumstances was fundamental to us winning the game. Did you expect Pele?
-
The point isn't really whether we own it or not. Rather that we don't need to spoend hundreds of millions of pounds on a new one like some clubs do.

Faye was announced at about 12.15

Good lad. Pleased with this
-
That sounds like the sign off from a letter to a local newspaper
-
Very impressed with the lad tonight. A real contender for the gaping abyss that will be the back of my new home shirt
