  1. Commentator just said West Ham have the two from Manchester, then Brentford before playing Leeds and Leicester final 2 games. Could still be in it like if they lose the first 3, thought they were clear of it
  2. Should get overturned, soft as shite
  3. Will be nice to watch the games tomorrow and not be so worried about bloody Brighton
  4. Watched it this morning. Baz (from Overlap) and the other lad on the right are sound, passionate fans and while I don't care for their club at all, they are the type of fans I completely empathize with. Their boardroom financial mismanagement has been a true shit show and the fans have done their part only to be shat on from a great height. That said, if relegation comes, it might be what they need to "reset", God knows we've had to do it enough times.
  5. Amazing isn't it, you'd probably not have even thought it 2 years ago, I know I wouldn't. But i'll be tuning in as well
  6. Anecdotally, without stats to hand, Liverpool appear to have benefitted outrageously from VAR this year. Wolves above, obviously Isak's second goal at Anfield, West Ham in midweek just off the top of my head.
  7. We won't see the best of him until he has a full Eddie Howe pre-season under his belt and gets more integrated, coached fully and more game time, judge him then, pretty straight forward really.
  8. That first goal has gone somewhat under the radar probably because it ended in a tap-in but it was an excellent flowing move starting at basically our own corner flag with Tripps
  9. So annoying when you sort of know how a game is going to play out, hoping that it won't, but it does anyway. Longer it stays 0-0, good for us but a predictably slow start as usual away from home.
  10. I think I read he was an Everton fan as a kid but knowing him, he was probably one of their infamous turncoat fans who supported whoever was successful in the 80s at the time.
  11. Think we'd prefer a draw tonight? Or anything but a Spuds win?
  12. Feels almost derby-esque, at least in the atmosphere sense, just hope the players play the game, not the occasion
  13. Actually feel physically queasy. It's both great and shit to care again
  14. Can't say enough about EH and how well he's managed Isak/Wilson and their respective fitness and morale. Think Wilson will hopefully be flying and trying to prove a point tonight with Isak to come on if needed.
  15. Benny was quality throughout 89/90, especially late in the season. Started the next well too but 90/91 was a rotten season overall
  16. If someone told me to predict which game he would return for, from the remaining games, this would probably be last on the list but welcome back!
  17. Very unlike EH to bench "form" players (Isak and Murphy) and also surprised at the Targett inclusion, would have thought a home game instead of a white hot away game would be better but EH knows more than anyone. Let's smash these horrible fuckers into the Championship!
  18. Think in the main, we need to be on it with defending set pieces, long balls. They have very little quality but a big side who Dyche sets up to be threatening from free kicks and corners. It'll need to be a brave defensive show to keep a clean sheet, even though they lack quality all over.
  19. From what I recall, they were bad, we were a bit better and made chances but were really sloppy defending and with our chances. I'd just like to see a dominant away win, haven't had one in ages. Sounds silly after beating West Ham 5-1 but they gifted us goals in a way i've not seen before.
