  1. Probably not. All I wanted from the start of the season was to finish above Liverpool. Anything else is a bonus
  2. Where was tv's Ray Stubbs to nail the media darlings Spurs defender for the off the ball assault on Norwichs Grant Hoult. They devoted half the programme to nailing Cabaye after the Brighton match I seem to recall.
  3. Pulis will end up getting them relegated with that type of football, it can only take them so far. Good football will ultimately prevail.
  4. This should be one of the easier 3 points if we are at full strength. Pulis and his Stoke teams reliance on horrendous anti-football tactics will be undone by our players playing proper football with guile and flair. Wigan will be more of a threat in the following game because they try to play proper football too.
  5. One look at a map should tell us that Boltons fans are to be respected. As part of greater Manchester they could easily take the gloryhunting Manc route with greater legitimacy than the other armchair hordes. They no doubt had to put up with the imbecilic 'your support is fucking shit' chant too. Shame really, I hope they stay up.
  6. As I don't believe the big money is out there so much now, lets see how the Ashley lovers respond when he starts selling players anyway.
  7. I would not be surprised if the days of the stupidly big transfer fee and salaries are no more. We may be able to keep some of our players as long as Ashley isnt tempted to sell too cheaply. I wouldnt put it past him though.
  8. Yet another game ruined, such a shame.
  9. Colemans last resort was to take Cisse out of our side and put him in Swanseas. Sorry chris hes under contract, swansea cant have him, they still lost.
  10. Jonas was superb. Especially seeing the game out towards the end.
  11. Chris coleman on another planet. surreal now talking about swansea 2-1 up and demba ba leaving as a result.
  12. Our front 3 have to keep going closing their back line down across the pitch. It'll be tough discipline to do it for 90mns
  13. Enough of the Jose enrique song now folks, hes not playing ffs
  14. Absolutely have to press these high up the pitch. No short goal kicks or restarts from their keeper. Make them go long every time.
  15. He would have quickly had to use his right foot thats what threw him out of sync. Would have scored easily if cutting across Krul from the other direction.

One of the rare breed who do not have to think about how best to control the ball at their feet as everything is instinctively under complete control. Instead he is looking at the opponents poise and balance and reads the opponents movement in order to keep that split second ahead with his evasion. it is mastery of the game at its most beautiful level and he must not be left out of this team ever again or Pardew wants shooting with shit.

Me too, Your Avatar reminds me of a joke I liked to play in quizzes. You ask, 'which striker who played for Newcastle, WBA, Everton and Sheff Wed. had a famous film star for a father? After much thought and futile guessing they will give up and you say Imre Varadi of course, and his dad Ollie!!
  18. Jonas ran that game on Sunday, was involved in everything from tackling back and creating forward moves. He was everywhere. A box to box masterclass.
  19. Hes their Nolan according to a WBA fan mate of mine. Scores the odd goal but is otherwise shite.
