  1. Most of the stadium chose bed, by the looks of it. Empty seats galore and I don't blame them, this is awful.

    Joe Willock

Watched the post match interview on .cock and he's endeared the shit outta me. Glad he's scored and found his form, hearing him talk about Howe and the other leaders, you can tell his confidence is back after being well and truly 'Bruced'. I'll even let "up the Maggies" slide, because he's such a likeable young man.
  3. Thought so. It took Howe, what, 4-5 games for his approach to integrate and had the January window to add players in support. It was obviously a now or never for Leeds and Bielsa, going to be tight for them, but I think they're better than Brentford based off what we saw yesterday.
  4. Is that not what Howe has done? or are you saying his philosophies are too "Bielsa" for other managers to shift to their's? If Marsch can add some defensive prowess the last 12 games there's more than enough quality in their squad to stay up.
  5. Yeah, I find comparing Bielsa to anyone is a stretch, he’s non conventional. Situationally, there might be a case there.
  6. Football is theatre and Bielsa is a character as he’s unique, not cut from any particular mold but his own. I love watching him pace the sidelines, perched on a cooler, with his naff beanie and trackie, so entrenched in the game unfolding in front of him. Leeds are a big club, who sank too low given their history and Bielsa was a focal point in their resurrection. I want them in the league, but obviously not at our expense and hope to see Mad Marcelo back with another club in the future.
  7. Love seeing photos of them together post win, that’s a team right there. Howe has brought the culture, respect and will back to these players. Trippier is there on crutches, for fuck sake, you’d have never seen this from Bacon man. Very proud of the turn around in some of these players who looked hopeless the first half of the season. It’s clear they were in need of a leader and structure on or off the pitch.
  8. They were awesome when they first came up, no fear, played open and ran their collective bollocks off. What we're seeing this season is a lack of adaptation to the squad available. They fucking schooled us last year 5-2, was embarrassing.
  9. Fraser running his bollocks off. Gan on, wee man.
  10. He had time for another touch as well. Thought he'd crossed it before seeing the replay.
  11. That is some header, bulged the twine hard enough to knock over the camera!
  12. Depends where they expand, been a few years since I've been in SJP, but I'm sure some of the executive lounges could use a facelift and expanding the stadium makes room for more high end options that generate more revenue than sitting against the back wall of the L7 terrace. I hear you, though, there's so much commercial opportunity above stadium expansion that could be explored.
  13. Expansion = additional revenue and FFP compliance, definitely needed or existing seats become more expensive.
  14. Raphinha too. They aren't very deep beyond those three.

He seems nice enough, has a canny way of being inclusive, so I can’t fault the guy.

I wasn't sure if I was supposed to be laughing at that as well. I was like "wheeey, maybe that IS busy for them....." I've only been there once as a bairn and had been to Bamburgh Castle earlier that day, remember my bro and I going on about it endlessly (Bamburgh ).
  17. That was out of nothing and largely being outplayed this half. What a strike by Podence, love a low shot smashed across goal.
