  4. Would be a class bit of business if we could get him to turn things around like Kanu has a Pompey. Here's to hoping.
  5. Did you get my pm, mate? Are they even working? (I was asking where you're moving to in Canada).
  6. leave off shola you fannypack People will, as soon as he's fucked off to a club he should be playing at - i.e. a Championship one. Straight swap for Chopra!
  7. Ah yes but this is our coaching staff. So you're saying Pearson is over-rated? I didn't know he was rated at all, never mind over-rated. Was he not tipped to take over the U21's? I, like you, have no clue, but others around here seem to think he's a genius. Tipped by who, the Chronicle? The FA clearly went nowhere near him. Some people on here think Luque is world class. You do the math, as the Americans probably don't say as much as i like to think they do. I'm Canadian, we don't do math. EDIT: Ahahahahahahaha.....
  8. Ah yes but this is our coaching staff. So you're saying Pearson is over-rated? Couldn't tell you at the moment as I can't say I'm all too familiar with how he operates. Although I can guarantee he's more use than Terry Mac. The Human Clipboard Stand.

  11. We toured (does 2 games count as a tour??) the States in July 2000. DC United beat us 3-1. Daniel Cordone got our goal. We drew 2-2 with Colombus Crew. Carl Cort got both. Who's worse, him or Ameobi?
  12. Welcome to the great north, mate! Fox Sports Channel Canada is decent and does show some Toon games as well as Sportsnet, but coverage as a whole, stinks. Hope you have a place in your heart for Ice Hockey as it's going to be shoved down your throat 24 hrs a day. It's all anyone cares about here. Where in Canada are you moving to? (I'm in Toronto) hey, what aboot lacrosse, eh? Our national sport and most violent. They really wack the shite out of each other.

  14. Like previously stated, he almost threw it in the net. Has that ever happened? Ask Brummie. I forget what happened, care to enlighten? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/photo_galleries/football/2263084.stm Check it out. It would be bad enough in any match, the fact that it was against the blue scum from the other side of the city just made it about as bad as it gets on a football pitch. I see, I remember it faintly now. I imagine you wish you could do the same. Harper vs. Pool earlier this year was almost as embarassing. That nutter who ran on the pitch deserves a right bollocking, though. he got more than that, he got a prison sentence. That'll do it. Tossing some jail house salad couldn't be any worse than being a blue nose, could it?
  15. Wouldn't count on it, mate. It's quite brutal over here. Unless you spend some cash on getting Fox Soccer Channel, Setanta USA and the like. Where exactly are you moving to?

    Emre

Newcastle United midfielder Emre has denied a Football Association charge of using racially-aggravated and/or insulting words against Everton last month. The Turkey international has been brought to task over an alleged incident which took place in the Premiership clash on 30th December. It is claimed Emre made racist comments, with Everton's Tim Howard, Joleon Lescott and Joseph Yobo all reacting furiously towards the player after Newcastle were awarded a penalty in the 3-0 defeat at Goodison Park. Emre has always maintained his innocence since the allegations were made and has now requested a personal hearing. Referee Dermot Gallagher did not hear the alleged comments and The FA called on Everton to provide further details about the offence. The FA's official website issued a brief statement to confirm that Emre has denied the charge. "Newcastle United's Belozoglu Emre has denied a charge of using racially-aggravated abusive and/or insulting words and has requested a personal hearing." He said Vs. He said, He said, and blah blah blah... Probably the most confusing allegation so far this year. Should become a debacle soon enough. I don't think he did it, but who knows.
  24. If it's down to Shepherd then Roeder should grow some balls and do something about it, at least Souness had the courage to turn the screw on Shepherd, the result was something like £30 million misspent.
