His volley from a tight angle, whilst running into space, against Villa wasn't too bad either. My #2 favourite Shearer strike. Loved how he just stopped and threw his hands up in the air. F'kn Brilliant. You can tell even for him it was one of those "f*** it worth a try" that just hits your football perfectly and goes in. Great finish. If you watch the replay, you can tell he knew exactly what he was doing (meaning that it was about 2% luck/"f*** it, worth a try") and his reaction (as previously stated) isn't of shock, but like it was meant to be. I got chased across what seemed like half of the city centre after watching us up there in about 87. I also saw a Toon fan put a brick in a Villa supporting girl's face from point blank range, same year. I'm guessing things have changed since.
