I'm just saying that image looks like a stamp when it definitely wasn't. I can't feel hugely hard-done-by with the decision if I'm honest. If VARs are there to re-referee then, sure, make the call. But there's no way you can expect Rob Jones to spot a foul there.

The only real gripe I had with the lineup was Murphy in there ahead of Barnes, but then he started well and ultimately provided a really good assist. Do feel like we need to get Barnes in there though. I think he probably knows Pope is better than Dubravka so I assume there's good reason for why he went with Dubs.

I thought he was alright and had a few good moments; set someone away and got behind in the first half, and did extremely well to win a free-kick at one point in the second. He didn't really affect the game though. I think it's one of them where, in addition to Longstaff, you've just got one too many CMs in there where the quality is lacking a bit. Difficult to predict at this point where he might go with us. I like him but would probably be tempted by a good offer given the 'pure profit' craic. He's easily capable so you wouldn't be shocked if a promoted club tested the water.

He's got some serious potential like. Love his tenacity and ability to get a foot in, in addition to some good technical ability. On the basis of the last few performances, I don't really see any reason at this point why he can't be first choice next season.

Fair comment. Still, he should bury it.

Don't think they were shite at all mind. Casemiro and Amrabat tag-teamed very well off the ball, Diallo was tricky and Fernando's obviously quality. Man Utd are a total basket case but it's very vogue to go OTT on how shite they actually are, just because they pale in comparison to Ferguson's sides.
-
If you're pointing your finger at individuals then of course, Trippier for goals one and two then Dubs for goal three... but Longstaff not putting that gilt-edged chance away was just as bad. Isak not great also but in fairness to Amrabat it was a great recovery. But anyone with a bit of guile arrows that Longstaff effort into the bottom corner. Again just so bloody frustrating.

Ten Hag with a rare flash of charisma.
-
There's really no need for this. The players don't owe you anything; they have applied themselves to the absolute maximum in every second of the season.
-
Just immensely frustrating. Carbon copy of the Chelsea game, even down to the late pearler giving us false hope. Matched them in terms of performance but we chucked a couple in and they didn't. So annoying. 7th still in our hands.

Absolutely gorgeous from Murphy

I think Gordon is unfairly impeded and therefore it should be a pen, but that image portrays a bit of a different situation. Amrabat doesn't deliberately go for him, he catches him accidentally. I don't think the on-field ref has a hope of spotting it in real-time whilst sprinting to catch up with the play

I know they're a League 2 team or something but Man Utd have been decent n'all, like. Fernandes obviously gives the whole team a lift.

I thought we were excellent in the first ten minutes; massively up for it, forcing them into errors, moving the ball with speed and purpose. It simmered down but not to the extent where we became second best. Goal is an absolute gift. Staggering from Trippier but sadly not really a surprise at this point.

Embarrassing to be losing at Old Trafford. At least expectations haven't gone mental.
-
1-0 down at HT is embarrassing apparently. Annoying as fuck goal to concede because beyond that it's extremely even. Don't concede again and we should get something.
-
Absolutely suicidal.

Livramento injury is another shit blow. Doubt Trippier is going to be sharp. Season defined by injuries to the very end.

Exceptional statement from Wolves. Sums up every issue so well.

Despite being as vocal as anyone on here re the misery of VAR, I wouldn't actually rule-out there being a version of it that could exist and be worthwhile. I don't know what that looks like though, and I have absolutely zero faith that it will actually improve. Where my view is that it's current level of imposition should be dramatically reduced - the recent mood music has been suggesting the opposite; with refs communicating directly with crowds and what-have-you. So, for me, this is absolutely amazing news. At this point, I sincerely hope they go for it.

Holy shit! Our very own @AlanSkÃrare there.

We can still finish 6th even if we lose tonight, but match Chelsea's results.
-
5 defeats in 6 now for Big Whinge. Love to see it.

We're only two points ahead of them because they've got the muscle to be in the mix despite being a total clown show. Honestly would find it depressing as fuck if, for the likes of Tosin, they're a more attractive destination than us this summer.
