you rascal. I was just about to and now I don't want to.
  2. Why? You can do that in YouTube if you want that.
  3. They're not that daft. Good news for 'Chappers' fans I expect.

Oh come on, Stifler. Germans? Sausages? Do I have to spell it out? The sausage-munching Boche. Fritz, the bratwurst guzzler.

    Dogawful Officiating

Absolutely gutted for the bloke if anything truly severe comes from it. It's obviously an incredibly poor decision to chat away so candidly to someone holding a camera, but what exactly is the gotcha here? Is PGMOL suddenly not satisfied that he behaves in an impartial and objective manner because he thinks Klopp's a cunt for publicly berating him? Surely not, ffs. I loathe how much top level football is about referees and officiating these days. However, you do wonder if - in times like these - there'd actually be some value in the likes of PGMOL actually acknowledging that the refs are human beings, rather than admonishing them beyond repair whenever that humanity is revealed.

    Alexander Isak

Agree generally, but Isak probably holds the most important cards. I don't think he's destined to leave in the next 12 months but if we're not at least showing signs of qualifying for the CL, the writing is probably on the wall. Like I say, I'm optimistic that we'll get this and another season out of him, but I think he's probably destined to join a club with realistic potential of achieving the biggest honours. That's not a reflection of us; he's just so good.

Isak's record in the PL is better than 1 in 2. If there's interest in January or the summer then we should have absolutely no qualms in asking for a record-breakingly high figure. I think you can reasonably discount Chelsea's lunacy when trying to define the market, but Darwin Nunez was signed for around £80million. If that's a guide price then I'd expect us to be asking for £90-100m.
  8. Annoying, was coming here to say something like this. Away wins last season and this: 8-0 vs Sheffield United 3-0 vs Man Utd 3-0 vs Sunderland 2-0 vs Fulham 3-1 vs Villa 3-2 vs Forest 1-1 vs Blackburn (won on pens) 1-0 vs Fulham 4-1 vs Burnley 4-2 vs Brentford 1-1 vs Forest (won on pens) 2-1 vs Wolves 3-1 vs Forest Notable draws in both Milan and Paris, too. Not playing down the issue because clearly it's been a big one at times, but we've certainly had far leaner times on the road than this. The fucker last season was ending up with zero points so many times, when literally one would have been extremely useful. A draw at Stamford Bridge and we'd have been playing FC Noah last week.
  9. Anderson is still pretty rough around the edges on the evidence of yesterday but I still think he's got a lot of potential. I'm glad he went and not Gordon or Bruno but still sad that we were forced into a sale.
  10. Can I just give a shout out to @Charlies' outrageous consistency at being first on the scene in the match thread whenever we score? Dunno how he does it; what a man.

    Lewis Hall

He must have around twenty PL starts under his belt? Plays with the confidence of someone with 100+. Coming on leaps and bounds atm; love the way he moves the ball.

    Joelinton

What a beautiful finish, btw. As if he's got an RB on his swinger, ffs.
  13. Just popped into me head to come back in here to say something to this effect. A right old fashioned piece of shit. Needless to say he was worth at least three bookings today. A fussy ref sends him off for the studs on Longstaff. Also thought Elanga was very powderpuff. There's a few of their players I'd definitely have (their goalscorer for starters) but glad we didn't drop big money on him.

    Dan Burn

Get the fuck off page 2 you utter legend. Ridiculous how solid this bloke is for us.
  15. Pope - 7 Livramento - 7 Schär - 8 Burn - 9 Hall - 8 Longstaff - 7 Bruno - 8 Willock - 8 Joelinton - 9 Isak - 8 Gordon - 6 Tonali - 7 Barnes - 7 Would honestly argue that was the best all round performance of the season tbh, though I didn't see Man City and second half of Arsenal.
  16. Thought we came out for that second half pissed off and utterly determined to get the job done. We knew we were doing alright but had to quicken up our attack; we did and gave them a hiding in the end. Immensely satisfying.

    Joelinton

Absolutely adore this bloke. What a fucking player.
  18. Still a colossus for Eddie Howe's Newcastle. Fuck, how we missed him last year.
  19. Please don't let us suddenly do this thing where we give the ball away instantly whenever we have it. We've had the ball for the entire game, man.
