  1. WBA could be signing German international David Odonkor from Real Betis for 1.5m Remember him doing well for Germany in the world cup. few injury problems since then i believe
  2. why has he not got a Wiki page yet?
  3. prefer Volz but Parmarot would do. Any promising right backs in our reserves just out of interest? I know none are probably ready for the first team but anyways....
  4. good choice....hopefully that means Krul is staying as backup if not first team keeper soon though with our club you never know
  5. I would try to get in Moritz Volz on a free transfer.... .would do a job in the Championship for us, did well at ipswich IIRC. just need a f***ing owner to give the go ahead for transfers
  6. but Ali Daei was really good. true, remember him scoring a few goals in the Champions league for Bayern Munich
  7. Why wouldn't they... just out of interest? (Sure there's a valid reason, just not that clued up on it). There's been plenty of players from that quarter over in this league. Think Teymourian's the latest Iranian import? as long as the country is within the top 70 of the Fifa rankings, Premier league rules allow it....so yes.
  8. Must have double vision or he's counting the under 18's, mind you never know with Wenger. SSN 12.07 Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed he will not definitely enter the transfer market to replace Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Adebayor. No Bassong bid then
  9. thought Forster would have been decent cover as no2 should Krul leave but having read a few comments here I`m a bit concerned.....so hopefully Krul is not sold off
  10. what about Moritz Volz? Just been released by Fulham recently and by all accounts did well at Ipswich last season. Still only 26 and would do a job in the Championship for us

  12. Don't be so hasty, hold out a while longer and you might get £590 out of them. and that will be paid in installments like when they negotiated the Shay Given deal
  13. Scored on his debut for Valencia in a pre season friendly.........also red carded too (Video is on youtube)
  14. Middlesbrough are in talks with striker Leroy Lita, who was released by Reading at the end of last season. (Daily Mirror)
  15. I mean, freakin hell. Even I wouldn't touch that. Look at her lips! Looks like she have bought silicon on the net, and made the operation on her own. She probably has a lovely personality. Haha, Nuno is the prettier girl of the pair
  16. I'm wondering the same myself. http://www.goal.com/en/news/700/newcastle/2008/08/31/842110/keegan-slams-nasty-nasri

    Tevez

Mum has Tevez baby Blues Amanda Crook July 18, 2009 UNITED fan Claudia Thomas named her son after her favourite player Carlos Tevez - hours before he signed for City. Tevez Thomas is one of the first children to be born and treated in the intensive care unit at the new St Mary's Hospital in Manchester city centre. He was born at 3.13pm on Monday and named just four hours before City officially announced they had signed the Argentine striker. Claudia, from Moss Side, who already has a two-year-old daughter, Montel, and 10-year-old son, Jervaine, decided to name her new arrival Tevez months ago when the player was still an Old Trafford favourite. Reconsidered She decided to stick with the name after Tevez, 25, quit United on June 20 when he turned down a £25.5m contract to stay with the Reds. But she had a moment of doubt after reading about the striker's signing for City in the M.E.N. a few hours after she gave birth. She briefly reconsidered, but decided she liked the name so much that she would stick with it. Claudia, 38, said: "Tevez is a lovely name, I decided on it ages ago. I was gutted when I saw he'd transferred to City. We're all United fans in my family, I don't know what they're going to say when they find out. "I'm very proud of him, he's already made history by being the first baby born at the hospital. "He was the first to be treated at the intensive care unit, too, and he has done really well and is almost ready to go home now." Tevez was born weighing 3lbs and 13ozs. He was the first baby born in the doctor-led unit at the new St Mary's.
  21. 12-year-old Mauricio Baldivieso given professional debut in Bolivia From correspondents in La Paz, Bolivia July 20, 2009 Bolivian top flight football side Aurora have handed a debut to 12-year-old Mauricio Baldivieso in a 1-0 loss to FC la Paz. Mauricio came on six minutes before halftime, sent into the fray by coach Julio Cesar Baldivieso, who happens to be youngster's father. Mauricio had a somewhat brutal introduction to the professional game as he picked up an ankle knock within five minutes from ferocious tackle by La Paz's Henry Alaca. But to the delight of Aurora's fans, who gave him an ovation, the youngster was able to resume after treatment pitchside. "I am proud - he has a lot of talent," said his father. http://www.foxsports.com.au/story/0,...-23210,00.html Marca is saying that he started crying after that brutal challenge. im wondering if theres an age limit in Europe for players? 12 is just incredibly young to make your pro football debut (amongst other things)!
