Exactly. Jesus I'm sorry I actually want to know what our new owner wants to do with the club. All I'm saying in my post is that I'd like to know what his intentions are for the club, I also say that a lot of positve changes have already been made and there is still plenty of time. It is not being fickle wanting him to state his intentions. Mike Ashley is a businessman, he's going to want to make money, the new TV package has made football a very attractive industry, forgive me for being a little bit cautious about what he intends to do. if Ashley's past record is anything to go by, you will have a long wait. Stand by for being giving next to no information if anything at all about such things. We will get the odd interview as we have just seen with Chris Mort and that will be it. For those who didn't want a chairman who liked to be seen in the press, don't moan if this is what you now get. It's what you said you wanted. Me ? I couldn't care less, my stance is the same as it was with Shepherd, I'm only concerned with what happens on the pitch, and how much the board back their managers. Neef senses the first oppurtunity for a counter-strike.

With a bit of common sense and statements from Sam and Mr Mort it is clear another 6 odd players will be here before the season starts.

"The companies Kia Joorabchian represents also claim exclusive rights over Tevez. Terms agreed on a two-year loan to Manchester United hampered by the league's insistence that his registration lies with West Ham. Maintain the three-year registration tying Tevez to Upton Park is worthless since the contract entered into with West Ham was for a single season's loan, now expired." They've spent a lot of money on players that aren't really good, just goodish.
-
True, but as an obviously very private man I'm sure Mr Ashley is going to be much happier conducting his buisness without having to tell the world via the stock market Sure he will be happier, doesnt explain why the money isnt apparently forthcoming. Its probably because Sam is in his normal transfer window mode, picking up good players at low cost and waiting to see where the big money should be spent. Not even Keegan waved a magic wand, he took a bit of time getting it right and importantly, took his time to assess the players properly before spending big. The earlier and the bigger the spend, the greater the risk imo. Agree with that, not panicking here. No need. Squad being strengthening and cash is there. Ashley isn't going to kick of his first season holding back if the right player comes up. I'm guessing we'll end up spending £25m.

Not true, Premier League have already said this is not acceptable - they want to see the money go to West Ham and stay there (or spent on othr signings obviously) Three pages of people trying to avoid this simple fact. Can't wait to see what develops.

Good point - if West Ham own the player as they are now having to claim, how can they not take issue with another club clearly talking to him without their agreement? What a mess! Clearly they don't own him Kia does....They might be pretending to own him and then ManU could pretend to loan him...

Try reading the thread and then get back to me Ringo. you think I haven't read it? You never read threads.......

Err no, I'm asking you, seen as you suggested they should be punished. Oh and try not to cut and paste something eh? Try to give your own opinion. Clearly so far WH haven't been punished or they wouldn't be in the PL. And now ManU are latching onto a LOAN deal for a player who's ownership is at best caught up in a legal cat and mouse and at worse fraudulent. The PL have got involved as they have decided the monies should go to WH and not internationally wanted for money laundering his agent/owner. If it isn't clearly shown that West Ham are getting the money from ManU then this shouldn't go through.

Rudiments of the arguments can be found here. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/main.jhtml?xml=/sport/2007/07/06/sfnfro106.xml Some of the comments are interesting.. Dear oh Dear this tevez situation aint that confusing. The main issue was one of third party "interference". This is why West Ham were fined because the original contract allowed Joorabchian a say in what West Ham did with Tevez. For the last 3 games this clause was "torn up". Lets make it clear West Ham have never "owned" Tevez they merely have his registration rights. The whole scenario is like a club loaning a player. The club that loans cannot dictate what games the player plays in, this is "third party interference" The only solution is to stop loan deals in the same division. This used to be the case so why not now? The Premier League have a lot to do i think. Posted by Nick Sutcliffe on July 7, 2007 5:45 PM

Read up on it first before your silly comments simmer. I have. How is the mess over his registration Man Utd's fault? Why should they be punished? A question better addressed to the PL don't you think?

I'd love to see Sam or Chris Mort make a comment about this. Do you really think if the boot was on the other foot Fergie would hold his tongue? IMO we need to start taking issue with any top 4 club where we think there is some psychological mischief to be had. The likes of ManU and media darlings Arsenal have had it their own way for too long.

PL are blocking the loan. Based on West Ham saying they ripped up the contract and now own Tevez, which is hillarious and would never hold up in court. As Kia Joorabchian says "If you borrow someone's car, then tear up the log book, that doesn't make you the car's owner." I think the PL are backing West Ham into a corner here and when Tevez does leave West Ham the PL will finally take action. I think we and Chelsea need to get involved and lodge protests. It's ridiculous this carry on continues. Why bother getting involved when we can sit back and warm ourselves from the glow.... Because as Jose will tell you there are many ways to destabalise the competition. Fergie is taking the piss with this and needs to be pulled up on it. How can they loan a player from a club who don't allegedly actually own the player?
