  1. He started with just a toy factory back in the day. And a little importing Lada's from Poland scam allegedly.
  2. I corrected it Ozzie. The stray extra 0. mackems.gif
  3. His assets are 200 BILLION? I think that's somewhat exaggerated. Britain's richest 1000 people together have assets worth 250bn, according to Forbes. Correction $20 Billion. I think it is probably double that in all reality. But.....they don't own oil fields, access and drilling rights to huge asian gas fields, assests that inc the 10% of the world supply of alluminium. 40 odd companies registered around the world. They're not best mates with Putin. Sibneft 2nd largest oil concern in Russia is pretty much his. 10% of Yukos largest oil company in Russia 4th largest arguably in the world Holdings in Lucoil 3rd largest. Holdings in the largest Indo Russian alluminium conglomorates..Sibal (Siberian Alluminium alone is worth $3 billion to him) Estimated cost and running of his fleet of 5 yachts with 2 in build and his 737 alone is €500m+ Holdings in AzSp Property portfolio in the region of €70m TV stations This is just the stuff we can see. 2nd most powerful man in Russia imo.
  4. I agree, something as small as getting married is a pretty insignificant event compared to a pre-pre season holiday.. erm training camp in Austria.. Looney Tbf he will do anything to get out of training. Next Week: Luque tends olive farm while teamates do cardiovascular and stretching work.
  5. To put all this into perspective Abramovitch's personal wealth is now £12billion and his assets are £200+billion.
  6. On the button Ozzie and ideally foreigners who will spread the emotional relationship with the brand in their homeland.
  7. The top 3 could spend £100m be ok.

  10. Cantona and Zola had qualifyied for England iirc
  11. He said: "Albert is lucky to be a footballer, but because so much money has been spent on him and that no one wants him i've decided i'll give him a shot as no one else will. Its tough being a football manager, but people expect miracles, and turning Albert Luque into a playable footballer, well, its a good job my best friend is David Blaine" you are joking? he wouldnt actually say that surely? Too right he did. He also punched a hole through Luque's bowler hat and kicked muddy rainwater all over his longcoat.
  12. Who were we going to sign instead before we heard his wage was the lowest then? Kuyt? mackems.gif
  13. Agree, I'd like to see us bring in a young, promising DM who can compete with Butt though. Wouldn't feel comfortable with Emre or Barton even filling in that role. Get in Deco and a qulaity LB and CB and with a bit of luck we'll have an outside chance of Top 4 next season IMO. Arsenal still better than us despite Henry going van Persie, Walcott, Fabresgas, Toure, Rosicky, Senderos would ALL walk into our team tbh. We will be top 4...Arsenal as I've said all summer are in meltdown. You don't know what our team will be yet tho do you? :parky:
  14. He's better out of positon tho innit?

  16. I think the big four and spurs will take the top 5 places. I don't hate Spurs like most Newcastle fans seem to (although I do loathe their undeserved media adoration), so can say without any real prejudice that they are a good year *at least* ahead of Newcastle and Villa. But after that, Villa, Newcastle, Everton and possibly Portsmouth are going to be fighting for the following places, and could finish in any order. Of those four, Everton are the best equipped to finish top of the group. I'd throw Citeh in there, but I think they're a bit too fucked to be competing at that level next season. Whatever happens mate the £50 is coming this way.
  17. OMG IF YOU DON'T AGREE WITH MY OPINION YOU'RE SO STUPID. Well, uh.. yeah. If you don't want Eto'o you ARE stupid. I think the majority aren't so excited because it's never going to fucking happen. If you think he'd ever come here, then you belong in a home, tbh. It'd be like walking around telling everyone how excited you are about the chance you may have of boning Ludivine Sagnier. Ah the long nights with Madame Sagnier.
  18. Sodoku? Eh? Whats the joke lol? If it isn't a joke his name is Anderson Luis de Souza. Close.
  19. Deco decamps Neu Camp? By Parky On Mon 9 Jul 2007 | (edit this) Have Your Say Word is spreading like wildfire that the mini-maestro Deco (Eduard Gonazales Etudendiates Vasco de Gama Suarez Soduku) is heading for the toon for a medical this week. Phones have been ‘off da hook’ reagarding these developments and leading officiando sites are carrying the story. There is no smoke without fire they say and we all wait with baited breadth for fruther developments. As they say in Spain: “Primero fue Gudjohnsen, después Edmilson pese a estar lesionado, y ahora le ha tocado el turno a Deco.” Roughly translated in my Cerveza ordering Spanish that means that Earth God Ashley and his cohorts have reavealed their interest for these players of proven quality and although Deco is currently the talk of the toon, I wouldn’t discount the appearance of the Nordic warrrior Gudjohnsen either with Edmilson injury worries deferring any agreement till Janurary. Shorey still hasn’t signed a new deal which has been on offer by our reckoning for three weeks now, rekindling links again with Newcastle who it is clear now wll not sign Baines (size does matter), and on this subject there is still talk of £5m on the table for a Chelsea left back. Meanwhile Beye, Wes Brown and Luke Young still remain viable deals in the squad strengthening crusade that Big Sam is on. On sadder matters Anelka has confirmed he will be staying with Bolton for at least another season with moves to the Toon, Arsenal and Juve not being to his ultimate satisfaction and the availability of Martins to two of the mentioned clubs confusing the issue. On the striking front the deal of the summer has to be Torres to Liverpool, which might be a huge miscalculation for Benny Bennitez of Top Cat fame….Where will the excuses come from now Rafa my dear? Lastly and with respect to the board invasions from Lancastrians wouldn’t it be rather jolly if we stole Bentley from under your noses? Keep singing in the rain. Parkenstien. www.newcastle-online.com
