Aye, one of our rivals losing their best player. Nightmare

I agree with you. It's highly unlikely we won't get injuries, even minor ones, and competition = motivation. If we are going to compete with the top clubs, it's exactly what we need. Compete?! We will lay waste to the PL in the coming years. I can't wait Parky. Your Jedi mind trick worked wonders didn't it? Now Anelka. Then everything is in place.

2nd para is about Anelka. "we grew in the premiership together", "3 or 4 years premiership experience"? it is about Ben Haim, Anelka has something like 7 or 8 seasons of prem experience. Can't hear you.
-
2nd para is about Anelka. It's quite blatantly not. I'm pretending it is.....So there!

Wenger is full of surprises. £20m now for Henry and in 2 seasons you're going 'What a genius Wenger is for selling at that time and at that price". The player cant be totally finished when you sell them on if you want a decent price. You need to sell on the downward part of their 'performance curve' for want a of a better phrase. If Wenger believes Henry has peaked then its going to be the right time to sell him soon anyway. Henry will go to Barca. 100% certain.

Anelka: "Yes I'm interested in Tal Ben Haim, he's a free agent and hopefully available," said Allardyce, who did not rule out the possibility that he will also look to sign centre-forward Nicolas Anelka from his former club before the start of next season. "He has got three or four years of experience in the Premiership and I know him inside out. We had a good working relationship, we grew in the Premiership together and I'm very interested in working with him again." Big Sam.

Overjoyed Anelka is still on.

The first goal wasn't much of a cross, Bridge was shocking all night (as was Brown down the right), it was Crouch's flick that made the goal. But the two long balls from Beckham were superbly executed and it was overall good attacking play. The movement from both Crouch and Owen was excellent and with Crouch's in-particular, it was a superbly guided header. The ball from Beckham just bounced, there was no pace on the ball by the time it reached Crouch, and he was still a good 12-yards out. Managed to get a lot of power and direction on it though, ace header. They were all good goals in fairness. Cheers YG.

Same old England then...Cross it people run blindly into the middle?
-
Was he cutting in from the left...?

Where are all the £5m a year players when you need them eh?
-
Didn't see the game. Are we back to relying on Beckham's 'delivery' again? The national side really need a proper manager.

Ger take the lead again.

Just like Vieria. Expect him to go if Liverpool offer £20m. Just like Vieria. Expect him to go if Liverpool offer £20m. you'd pay 20M for vieria? nuts... That's not the point i'm making mate. What am saying Wenger chased in on him about a year after his peak even though he was an exceptional player as he knows its the last chance to get good money for him. ....all good for us then.

Absolute disgrace in an England shirt. No right foot whatsoever is one of the main things that held him back. Very good player mind. Alreet Parky? McManamananan was quality at Euro '96 for England btw. I thought you might have worked it out as WE were talking about Giggs originally. Given the posts you quoted, not really. The thread was about Gerrard originally though See above. Macca always was shite whichever foot.
