Hope so. Allardyce-Anelka-Ashley. All 3 must be in place. http://www.gameweb.gr/lordoftherings/photos/images/gandalf.jpg Parky: "How can this not be so, did the planets not foretell it?" This is a very dangerous time, the sands have shifted...I did not see red nose strike from the shadows...Ashley himself is in grave danger. Fergy as before is the dream breaker.

YOu don't understand YG....No Anelka means the timeline is blown....Even the Ashley deal is in trouble.

It looks like my dream of seeing Nicolas in the black and white is at an end. Fergy who is clearly working from the same string vibration as me over the last couple of weeks has seen something in Anelka which is as clear as day...Anelka is still one of the best strikers in the world and £8m is really peauts for his services. Hang your heads in shame all those mumbling about his attitude, this is a big oppurtunity missed. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/main.jhtml;jsessionid=EYGJ5RMXWB25RQFIQMFCFF4AVCBQYIV0?xml=/sport/2007/06/01/sfnman01.xml "Having left Manchester United's rivals trailing in their wake by racking up more than £50 million of transfer activity before the end of May, Sir Alex Ferguson is now considering an £8 million move for Nicolas Anelka to complete his summer strengthening while Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool continue to position themselves in the starting blocks. United have made inquiries as to Anelka's availability at Bolton and it is understood that the 28-year-old striker will be allowed to leave if a club competing in next season's Champions League lodge a bid matching the £8 million that Bolton paid Fenerbahce for the Frenchman last August."

mackems.gif Right voice as well.
-
I hate him, he played for the scum of the earth. I guessed that.
-
I like him, he's got a lovely name.
-
To be fair though, he dominated the pitch against Real Madrid as a teenager and he was always too good for the Swedish league He has a lot of potential that's for sure. And let's face it the price is silly money.

I don't know what the fuck lil' mickey wants, tbh. Which is what drives me beserk. No where have I said, "I think Mickey wants to go", I said, that he thinks he's bigger than the Toon and he clearly does. Pisses me off, but I've agreed with you and Dave. That's reality, we were shit and even shittier without him. Yes, I'm talking about fair and living up to a contract. He put the word out through his agents that he could leave if the right offer came along, and it still might materialse. But as the days go by I have the feeling he will end up staying and it also looks like he had a good talk with Big Sam. Morally he owes us, but when if ever has that stopped a professional footballer?
-
Nearest then. Surely you agree with my point in general? NEVERR!!! yeah ok then He is certainly very good Premiership standard, I just think in a team like ours against CL teams he would struggle which prevents him from being all round world class in my opinion. He is still in my top ten Parky stats as a one of the best finishers in Europe I'll have you know.

Henry was on £100k wasn't he?
-
Like I said, good touch, good vision, good passing and always tries hard. However, doesn't score enough (although he did score a few good goals). Edit: And he is absolutely nothing like N'Zogbia. Zoggy is a winger, Boateng a creative/attacking midfielder. He's way more athletic and combative than Emre would you agree?
-
Nice post. How is similar to Emre?
-
Why do you say this?

Link? http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=469025&CPID=22&clid=169&lid=9&title=Stuttgart+seal+Basturk+deal Thanks Melan, it was the post after and Vic pretended Kingston had gone to Stuttgart which threw me.

wow. they had a fantastic team back then. Too bad its not like that anymore Had Woodgate then too. Queuewell at his peak as well.
-
Agreed, like a better version of Faye tbh. Breaks up play and gets about well but a very limited player. Faye couldn't even do that very well. Sissoko is much more atheletic and imposing. btw is Parker sure to be on his way? Gone.
-
Aye he's a great destroyer but can't pass very well and we give the ball away enough as it is. I'd prefer another African. We need a big African in the middle.
-
Sissoko isn't that good really.
-
It's what we've been crying out for - some presence in midfield and not all these dancing/twirling/hopping midgets.

Would you take a paycut from 60k to 30k?
