The Managerial Merry Go Roundâ„¢ - Postecoglu told to rack off by Spurs
ScottishMagpie replied to cp40's topic in Football
Absolutely mental. "In the summer Alisher Apsalyamov was on work experience painting the walls of Cardiff City Stadium, watching their promotion games on his laptop. "Now he's the acting head of recruitment at the age of 23, responsible for the January transfer window that could determine whether Cardiff stay in the Premier League." Fecking crazy. Watch us try and nick him to replace Carr. -

Doh! Right, who on earth is responsible for the organisation of the above list?! Resembles something Pardew would do.... -

Can we get Poyet included in the vote? -
This. He seems incapable of sticking with an effective system which we've proved the vast majority of the times, works for the players we have at our disposal. But instead he likes to change for every match in the belief that it somehow re-inforces his self opinion as a master tactician.
-
after 'managing' the majority of the same group of players for some time now you would think he would have enough tactical nous to get the best out of each player, ie. what position suits which player best but it seems he's still in his "test, fail, tweak, re-test" mode.

That's another thing. If Pardew gets sacked and Kinnear gets the job, we're basically rid of both. Totally agree. There's a strong belief that Joke will replace Pardew when he's binned. The sooner this happens the sooner we'll be rid of Pardew and the sooner Joke will be on the road to ruin and getting binned also. Then we can hopefully move forward as a club and get someone decent in place. Getting all this out the way before xmas would be useful and at least give us a fighting chance of avoiding the drop.

Was that the first away match that big mike has been at in a long time no? Wonder if he was just reminding Pardew that they're watching him (or maybe he just had a free night off). Convinced myself that another performance like last night on Saturday in Cardiff then Mike's gonna pull the trigger. He doesn't want to win anything but will want to stay in the premiership, keeping Pards in post will seriously put that in jeopardy. Plus gives us the international break to get a replacement kinda settled in a bit before the 'pool match.

how can the players relax and do what should come naturally to them (they are international players for fuck's sake!) when we change personnel and tactics every single match to counter act what the opposition are gonna do. Can we not just have a Newcastle style of play and be damn good at it and say to the other team 'this is NUFC, you fucking worry about us!'.

We worked hard but we weren't good enough. I thought we looked tired out there, there were some heavy legs. But and get back to the training ground and start working on what is letting us down. That's exactly what he'll say.... cunt that he is! Can anyone tell me one thing that has improved in our play since he became manager? Can anyone name me one player that has improved under him?
