OFFICIAL WELCOME TO NUFC Mr PARDEW THREAD.
ScottishMagpie replied to Crumpy Gunt's topic in Football
Welcome to NUFC. There's the exit.... now f**K off! -
Voted 'NO'. Will wait to see what the players reaction is but can see this being my last as a season ticket holder.
-
I'm so close to handing my season ticket back. Pardew - you're not wanted here. Get the fuck away from our club!
-
Jobs for the boys again!! replacing CH with someone who left/sacked/resigned from a 2nd division side?!! How's this an improvement?!
-
If we were sitting stranded at the foot of the league and needed someone/anyone to try and save us I could maybe strain my mind to accepting him as a stopgap it but for FUCKS SAKE!!!! I'd love to know how he convinced MA that he was the man for a long term contract and the ideal man to 'grow' the club. Would love to know what the players think of this one. Go on Andy, you know you wanna stick the heid on him...
-
Feel like my soul's been ripped apart. Just as well I work in a one-storey building otherwise I'd be on roof right now.
-
Even from a non-footballing perspective...if it gets given to Pardew, who is someone with a less than successful history in dealing with the media, then how in God's name is he going to handle the media scrutiny at NUFC?!
-
Not Pedro?!!!! I feel like I've just found out wor lass has been cheating on me. Is there nothing sacred to NUFC that MA will not destroy or corrupt?
-
Jol was the only serious 'possible' that was an improvement on CH. If we're not going to improve then what was the f**king point?!!!! GRRRRRRR!!!!!
-
Is there anything in this rumour going about that Beardsley will be no.2 to whoever comes in?
-
No no nooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!
-
just been reading the quotes in the chronicle assigned to the infamous 'club source' talking about long term contracts and someone they can trust to grow the club. Even though I think he's pretty much got the gig I don't see how Pardew fits this at all. Anyway, what does 'grow the club' mean? is it getting match day attendances up over 50k each game and playing football that Sky/ESPN want to broadcast every week? Can you see Pardew doing this? or is this 'growth' to be youth academy/reserves etc? Again, where has Pardew in the past displayed a knack for this?
-
Maybe it's just the black hole of depression I'm in right now but got a feeling it's going to be Pardew which I'm underwhelmed about to say the very least.
-
Anytime during our relegation season I would have loved to have seen Jol as manager but now I'm just that depressed I can't see anyone working out..... I want CH back!!!! (cries and stamps feet like a 5yr old!)
-
Those pics make me wanna greet! CH was a true gentleman who I was proud to call our Manager.
-
Wonder what he did that was that earthshattering to lose it in such a short space of time? Was it CH that torched AC's car?
-
Caught Offside is just made up rubbish fwiw So, if true, they've sacked CH then going to go flogging the job about like some Owen brochure? Can't believe the Chron has Strachan as one of the possibles?!!
-
It'll be Kinnear until the end of the season. Don't see how it could be any longer given his fragile heart condition.
-
Caulkin on twitter: Said all along #Nufc has been a fragile coalition. Now in pieces. Forget crap about senior player unrest - they're as upset as anyone No offence but I'm more inclined to agree with Caulkin!
-
Ultimate choice would be Mourinho. Still think him and our fans would be an ideal match for each other. From looking at who's 'available' then the best we could get is O'Neill. To see Barron get the boot as well makes me agree with others that whoever is coming in has their own backroom staff. I know he had a couple of coaches that have followed him around but did O'neill have a goalkeeping coach too? Pardew or Kinnear that I won't be attending anymore games.

The "We Won't Win Another Game This Season" Fred aka Relegation-o-meter
ScottishMagpie replied to Stu's topic in Football
Went for 10 but upon relfection it should have been a 9 depending on who comes in. -
Would like to see the lads on level 7 unveil a banner that leaves all this cockney mafia bollocks and says something like 'Thank you Chris, from the fans!'
-
I know hindsight's a great thing but don't think this would have happened if Chris had his first choice team available. Chris has ultimately paid the price for no strength and depth in the squad which was hardly his fault considering his hands were tied by the powers that be. Sometimes I think he's actually trying to f**k this club up. The only way he can save himself in my eyes if a manager of a better level comes in but looking at lack of transfer funds, strict salary structure etc I can't see it being anybody we're going to be pleased with. If only Real had thumped Barca instead of the other way around we cold have got Pep.:-)
