Prediction or what you're hoping for? Worst case scenario. Incorrect. He's the only survivor.

Have Viduka stopped playing internationals or did he just choose to stay in Newcastle for this one or was he not included in the squad?
-
That's the answer. If you have a team of injury-prone players, chances are you're going to go through an injury-crisis
-
Come on Newcastle, first win under Keegan today!
-
It's on in Sweden (Canal +), and probably quite a few other countries too.
-
Shouldn't you want Rooney to play and get injured or something like that? :wnk:

It was pre-season wasn't it? Against Athletic Bilbao. It was after the 2nd consecutive 11th finish under SBR. I think there were a number of factors - the previous season not being great (we'd stood still and not had a cup run for the first time in a while), the opposition, the timing (people still being on their hols etc.). Pre-season Shit opposition. £20 a ticket (£11 kids) No Past legends/team mates Marcelino booed My first visit to SJP Can't decide who was the best signing, but it has to be one of Lee, Beardsley or Shearer.

Now you're talking like a spurs fan! Key words being at this rate. Should they keep improving like this, then aye, in three years they would be up there, but I can't see them keep improving like this. Ramos didn't inherit a bad squad, the squad he's got today is probably at least as good as the one they had last season, so they are really just getting back to where they were last year.

How is Torres a cunt? Because he has a tendency to fall to the ground far too easily. Nowhere near as bad as when he was at Athletico mind. Whereas Ronaldo.great sporting professional that he is,never falls over without good reason to of course!! No one said he isn't a cunt. Isnt that a double negative Towelie? Yes. I'm saying that we all think he's a cunt too.

Robbie Keane is really pissing me off at the moment. Never quites his whinging

First of all, that's bollocks. Second, he won Man U the game on Saturday to take them above Arsenal, and he's winning the game for them now to gain a 3 point lead. He's scored 32 or 33 goals in less than a season, from midfield. For me, he don't have to be magic in the "really big games" to be the worlds best player, as long as he keeps winning domestic titles for his team. Cup final last year-anonymous England v Portugal World and Euro finals-anonymous,except for slyly getting Rooney sent off Champions League semi last year-AWOL again. Proper big games not Man United vs. Derby?? Cannot be considered as world class until he does it on world stage.Oh Aye,and he's a cheating cunt also. And in your world, whilst he played at Old Trafford,Phil Neville must have been world class-and Nicky Butt.Whilst they were winning domestic titles. You know, he's actually evolved a fuck-lot as a player in the last two years, since the last WC. He ripped Milan apart in the quarters in the CL last year, he scored the important winner against Lyon this year in the last round of the CL, and he's also joint top scorer this season in the CL. I suppose none of them are big enough games though

Ronaldo and Tevez to save the day!

We don't know that Taylor is in yet

He was there against Brum on Monday.

You have to hate Owen if you love Oba. It's the law. I don't!

When I first heard it, I was slightly gutted. I was hoping for a "fresher" manager. When I came home though, and read the replies on here and saw the buzz in Newcastle, I changed my mind. NUFC really needed someone who could bring the fans back behind the team, someone who can get the bitterness go away, and for that day the appointment did just that. So far, since he's been here, we've obviously haven't done very well. I'm very cautios though to assess how much of that should be put on him. I think we were extremely unlucky against both boro and blackburn, and could've had a win against Bolton as well, and had things just gone our way in those three games, we'd be in a totally different situation. The way I feel now is, that if we can just get our first win under him and stay up, he will make us into a better side next season.
-
But you reckon Fulham, the mackems and Reading are going to show a significant step up in class away from home? I hate to grim you out, Wullie, but we've got Sunderland at our place on Saturday, and not only are we playing shite recently, but we're also undergoing an injury crisis. If Dwight Yorke scores, I will kill myself. You'll batter them!
-
Frustrated with him in the first half, there was a period when he didn't even seem to look for a black and white shirt and just hoofed it as long as possible. Did much better in the second half, looked much calmer and confident. More of the that, please!
-
We've had both of them at the club for nearly two years, and they've started like three games together. I bet you that defenders will shit themselves if Owen and Martins were both in form and playing together.
-
Again, people forgetting the 2 months leading upto January. He's scored 6-7 goals, and I think most of them came by October. Martins was abysmal before the ACN, but he's now returned and for all the minutes he's been on the pitch since he's returned, he's looked dangerous as soon as he gets the ball. I was much more confident in something happening when he had the ball than when any other player in our team had it. We're desperate for a player like Martins, and it's ludicrous not to use him when he's available.
