Someone should have told Spurs before they built that huge new stadium that attendances are down

How many more last words do you intend to have on this?

Either one of us or someone sympathetic to the anti-Ashley sentiments. It's always been at it's most vicious at the "support da teeeeeeam" crowds, some of it's tweets around June last year when Rafa left were glorious - just straight abusing the fans trying to defend the club and those who renewed their season tickets. Genuinely love the fact they aren’t getting ticket money back. What the fuck, man? You're happy to see other supporters out of pocket, some desparately so, because, well.. why exactly? Because they were thick enough to keep giving their money to Mike fucking Ashley, presumably.

So SD paid less than £1m for Stadium Advertising

Best striker we've had since Shearer. Was really fucking good those six months when he was played on the left to accommodate Cisse as well, don't care that every shot he took managed to hit the post or the bar instead of going in.

Where's that from mate?

Right, behave now lads and lasses.

Locking this for a bit. Remember that making non-contributive posts is not allowed.

Was Tiotes in there? Not the best shot at all, but must be one of the most iconic ones.

No player has ever rejected us because of the training ground.

True, but he's only getting those questions so much because Staveley told him she was gonna pass the test imminently, nearly 3 weeks ago now. So he should be annoyed at her surely You said yesterday as well that it was "nearly three weeks ago", but he said Wednesday two weeks ago. Two weeks and a day is not nearly three weeks.

Loads of people are going to work every day without it being 100% safe. Suck it up Danny boy.

Hey remember when Amnesty refused to kick off about abortion of babies conceived from rape? Anyone? Because of all the donations they got from the Church? Anyone? Oh right, yeah, Amnesty, arbiters of whats right from wrong. They can f***. Right. Off. When/where is this? From a quick google they seem extremely pro abortion Civil war in DRC, first hand accounts. I doubt It'll appear on Google. Ah yes, I remember that well. Me and ManDoon were stationed there together.

I don't care if it's Qatar releasing the story. It's one we should be discussing seriously. It's not enough to simply acknowledge wrong-doing. A man was murdered for criticising a regime. That does not deserve death. Why should we ? It’s got nothing to do with football, if your going to attach the murder to the purchase of the club then also discuss it in relation to live nation, Warner brothers and other Saudi purchases. No one is disputing the murder is horrendous, it’s the hypocrisy that the sale of nufc should be stopped whilst all these other deals go throughout without a murmur. The one thing this deal won’t be stopped on is human rights, it would put the premier league at odds with the policy of the U.K. government. What is blatantly happening here is human rights lawyers are using the high profile nature of this sale to gain publicity, as they know the Saudis buying stakes in other companies just doesn’t draw the same attention. You can’t blame them for this as this is their job, however what I strongly object to is the notion that we should sacrifice the chance of a lifetime for our city and club, If this was blocked these same people would move on to their next cause and wouldn’t give a s%#t about us. So whilst I acknowledge and understand the human rights aspect, ths hypocrisy expecting us to be line drawn in the sand with Saudis doesn’t wash with me and many others. Spot on Whitley Mag. 100% agree with you here, everything you said is spot on. Nail on head Because we argued Ashley was a human rights abuser and used that angle in some of our protesting. Makes us look a tad hypocritical if we say nowt. It really doesn't; targeting SD was just a means to an end. None of us would have given a toss about SD if he ran the club properly, nit was all about putting pressure on him any way we could. That's not to say we shouldn't be excusing the atrocities made by our new owners mind.

Wanting that club to vanish and cripple the city of Sunderland long term is a bit short sighted. Fair enough you get p*ssed off with their small time antics on social media but should this blind you of the overall impact of losing such a major player and identity of a city. Fuck them. I'd have a modicum of sympathy for them if Sunderland Football Club wasn't the only thing they had in their lives, and the absolute barometer of their happiness. If the club going under destroys the City then it's only their own fault for not having anything else to care about in their lives. That's simply not true. They also care a LOT what happens to Newcastle United Football Club.

So the takeover's broken down and we have to get the bus from Four Lane Ends? Aye, Ashley upped the price to hundreds of billions unfortunately.

Some twitter gobshite who constantly makes stuff up. A few years ago he let slip that he worked at KFC. Apparently he bought a twitter account with lots of followers, why a lot of them are still there is beyond me. As it’s obvious that everyone knows he is full of s***, it is hard to tell if he attempting satire or seriously thinks people believe him. George puts it better: Well there we go then. Post that shite in appropriate threads (twitter or at a push positive takeover thread) or you'll be muted for 24 hours. This thread is for petty arguments, Luke Edwards WUMery and the occasional genuine update.

Is the Bundesliga still set to go ahead this weekend?

I think this was my actual Final Straw. I know a lot of people would say Keegan, but that was so early on in his ownership, if he wanted there could have been a way back after that. This period when we went 4 windows without signing a permanent player is the early seeds of the second relegation and IMO arguably the period that was most indicative of Ashley's intentions and how he saw the football club. Of course when Rafa came in, some sort of hope was there, but deep down we all knew it wasn't real.

Jesse Lingard is 27, turns 28 this year. Feels like he should be no more than 22. A big no thanks to him, massively overrated, and he's not even rated that highly.
-
Nobody has confirmed that the tests were completed or passed. I have done no such thing.
-
He covers all three North East clubs, so feels sympathy for all of them. Pretty sure he's originally a Newcastle fan though.

Not overly enamoured with the #cans stuff, but it's really not that bad man
