Swedish commentator just said "Chelsea got a very tough game at St James' Park this weekend"
-
Fuck off is the second kick momentum, the second kick is a deliberate attempt at hurting Coloccini, he's clearly lashing out in frustration. Disgusts me that some on here don't think it's a red tbh.
-
Nah. They are as bad as each other, just that here he can claim that he tried to play the ball. It's a shame that some people, including the ref, seems to be buying that though.
-
That table is so predictable. The manc teams at the top followed by Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Everton, there's just no "creativity" there, it's just lazy. Of course, Wolves after that is a bit of a shock, but considering where they really are, there's definitely some sort of bias going on there, and then after that it's very easy again with the mackems, Stoke and Villa.

There's no way that is a penalty, it hits his arm from a yard away, he knew nothing about it.
-
Watched it properly a fair few times now, and I'm actually baffled at how some can say that that is not a red card. He has no intentions at all at playing the ball, he's just kicking as hard as he possibly can. There's such malice in it, it's dangerous play and he clearly hits Colo's foot as well, how he just gets up and gets on with it amazes me.

Could tell how much it meant for Given to keep a clean sheet today after his save from Lita's one on one.

Did you know? One of three members of Newcastle's defence (along with Ryan & Steven Taylor) to play every minute of every game this season. Yeah, that's not true. Unless he means league games, but if he did, he probably should have said that.
-
Aye Eventful day for him, scored, caused a penalty and then that. I don't even know what to call that, it just looks so pathetic  I just watched the goal four times, it's so funny. The boooooo's just makes it that much better as well

Is that Larsson falling over?

Search for Gary Speed Tribute on youtube, there must be hundreds of videos already. Says a lot how loved he was within the game.
-
It's very possible that he kept playing as long as he did was a way for him to deal with it. Played in the championship when he was 41, that's remarkable.

I've been thinking this all day. I can't get my head around the fact that a guy who seemingly has it all, and everything going for him, has taken his own life. I'd sooner remain baffled than hear in the press that he'd done a giggs. thats the thing that many find so hard to grasp about clinical depression, it can strike at anyone, even those with supposedly everything. This really shows you that there's such a massive difference between someone saying they're "feeling depressed" and the actual thing. I'm sure Gary was as happy as anyone when he was out and about and could forget about the "demons".

NUFC Tribute to Gary Speed (1969 - 2011) Started crying when watching this. Same song that was played on my uncles funeral back in January as well

I'm the opposite tbh, I can't help but feel that there has to be a bigger picture to the event. I am devastated by what's happened and hope that if true then who ever is behind feels the weight of his death on their shoulders until their dying day. Never mind crap about reporters just doing their job, there has to be a line that should not be crossed, it's not journalism it's ruining people's lives to sell papers. I can see how and why you'd feel that, but to me it sounds like just needing a reason for it, as that would make the whole thing easier to understand. As it is, it's just completely baffling, no one understands why, and I think that's what's leading to these kinds of rumours. Not trying to start an argument here btw, it's not the time or the place, I respect your opinions, I just needed to get that said.

I might just be naive, but I don't believe for a second that this has anything to do with a possible scandal just about to be published.

Really? Didn't know that either. After the City game today Viasat showed the higlights from this weekends games, Henrik Strömblad interviewed Pardew after our game when it got mentioned, some relatives from Sweden came to visit them over the weekend. Said that he liked Sweden, as well as something along the lines "Swedish fans, Newcastle is the team for you" with a big smile on his face Canny Should make sure that our pre-season tour is in Sweden next year then

Really? Didn't know that either.

I still can't get my head around it. It just makes no sense
