  1. Interesting point the first one mind. How many times in the past have we seen Jonas maybe hold the ball up waiting for Enrique to make the overlapping run and giving it to him? Now though, he seems to be more prepared to have a go himself. Aye, good point. I've given him a lot of stick, and have on several occasions called the "Jonas-Enrique partnership" bollocks, because it was mostly Jonas waiting for Jose to help him out. Now, as you say, he'll run at players higher up the pitch more, and is certainly not afraid to shoot either. His shooting is about as hit and miss as it gets, it's like he closes his eyes and just hopes for the best, but even at that, it's a massive improvement. He's been very good this year, second only to Colo as our best player this season.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Even though he wasn't great yesterday, it's fantastic to have him on the pitch. It surely can't just be me who is expecting something to happen every single time he is on the ball. Obviously it doesn't, and it almost cost us yesterday, but that sort of quality is so rare in football that we have to use it. Great to hear Pardew talking him up, sounds like he'll start against Wigan
  3. While I would love to see Marveux and Ben Arfa in the starting eleven, the most important change is to get Santon in there ASAP. For me, Taylor is the one that makes room for him, a lot of people on here disagrees with that, but in the end, it doesn't matter all that much who he replaces, as long as he replaces one of our full backs. Can't help but feel that our left hand side would be fucking lethal with Santon and Jonas there, and when we eventually have Ben Arfa, Marveux and Ba in the side as well, we'll have too many attacking options for our opponents to be able to double up on Santon and Jonas.

    Sunderland...

"Watching them today is the first time I have considered that they might actually have better players." Things like this makes me laugh. It's taken them 8 games to see that Cabaye is better than Gardner?
  5. Deserves a hell of lot of credit for our first goal. His run is what opens up that mile of space for Ba.

    Sunderland...

Since selling Bent, they've got 19 points from a possible 69, only winning five out of 23 games.
  7. Agree, it was a very encouraging display against a good Spurs side.
  8. Wasn't there some French journalists at the training ground the other week and he would only talk to them in English?
  9. Aye, Krul gets overlooked by me at times, but I'm 100% confident with him in goal. He is already a top keeper and will only get better. Improved massively in the last year, and considering he was pretty fucking good a year ago, that's saying something

Eh? For who? Nigeria in 2013
  11. Despite a very costly error, I thought Taylor had another very good game. I really wouldn't mess with our CB pairing at the moment.
  12. Some CB cover would be nice too like. Williamson is good enough cover for me like. Don't think we'll be able to attract much better cover than him at the moment. Fourth choice, will we be able to get someone better than Kadar?
  13. I was sure he was going to book Adebayor as it looked like a dive to me at first. There's definitely contact, but he did make the most of it. In the end it was the right decision, even if it shouldn't come ten seconds after the incident.

Playing with Sessegnon as your lone striker is bad enough, but doing so as well as playing long ball stuff is frankly retarded.
  15. World class performance today IMHO.

    Alan Pardew

That's quality if that's what he was shouting at Tiote and/or Jonas

    Sunderland...

Seemed like Arsenal were wanting them to score to keep AB in his job. Useless cunts couldn't even manage that
  18. 1 is so fucking good. I wasn't even worried when it was Ade vs Colo, thought for a split second that it was weird how Ade seemed to have beaten him only for him to execute a perfect tackle and then show him how you get past a player as well. Excellent all game today, if he would have scored the winner at the end there a 10/10 would have been harsh.

Completely agree with madras. Come on, who thought it was the right move to bring him on? Just need to look in the match thread to see what people thought of that sub. He was fucking fantastic today though, great goal as well.
  20. I'm actually really confident about this one, can't remember the last time I was actually expecting a relatively easy win.
  21. Raped Simpson all game, that's where both their goals came from. Simpson was too busy backing off to stop Taylor giving away the penalty. Or something. He's the worst player to have ever played right back for us, no doubt about that.
