  1. That article is really weird First it says that he's been on a trial, and that the DOF of GAIS says "It shouldn't be a big deal", and then in the second part of the article, it says that they haven't really started negotiating with us.
  2. Unbelievable that people would replace Nolan, never mind replacing him Stephen Ireland.
  3. How the fuck is £6m "stupid" money? The lad is having a very, very good first season in the premier league, he's looking a hell of a lot better than he did just a year ago. He also seems to be very happy and enjoying his football here. He's got the potential to be our starting right back for a very, very long time, £6m would really not be that much at all. "Stupid" money would be around £15m, and if we're talking that sum, I can see why it would have made sense to sell him, if we were in need of money, which we bloody well should not be after the Carroll sale.
  4. I'm happy with him as our back up LB for next year.
  5. Don't you mean Circumverate? /Gob Bluth The old reach-around.
  6. 1000 pages Are there any rumours about Sneijder leaving Inter? Hardly ever watch Italian football, but love watching him play, would really like to see him move to a Spanish or English side.
  7. Or just stick with Enrique and Ferguson.
  8. What channel is the Man U - Arsenal game on tonight?
  9. There's a massive difference between being negative and talking utter bollocks though.

Hey Nigel de Jong: FUCK YOU YOU UTTER FUCKING SCUMBAG TWATHEADED CUNTFACE BITCH CUNT FUCKER TWAT CUNT. Cunt.
  11. I was going to suggest that you drink a bottle of your chosen spirit while having taken too many aspirin tablets, but then I don't want to get banned so I'll just tell you you're an utter bore.
  12. Got to love the people (well, idiot) saying "where are the goals going to come from?!". Clearly they are coming from Leon Best, top scorer in the league this year and Nolan, highest scoring midfielder and joint highest English goalscorer this season. Could Flatline be tDeans mkIII? I know he's not going on about Pardew, but he's certainly on the same level when it comes to idiocy.
  13. Like I said, they've got their ready-made excuse now. It'll forever be there to justify the inadeqacies of the English side in this case. In fact, this is exactly the same thing that happened after the WC (and every England exit from a major tournament in history). Spot on.
  14. How does receiving a suspicious yellow equal to being robbed? Van Persie should have fucking known he was on a yellow, and if you are, you don't fucking shoot after the whistle's been blown. I thought it was a tad harsh, but it was a 70/30, I said right after he took the shot, before the ref had made his decision, that it was a really daft thing to do. He's got no one but himself to blame for putting himself in the position where he's got a very decent chance to get sent off. Not that it matters, Barca would have won this tie anyway, and you can wave all your "we'll never know that!" in my face as much as you want, I'm fairly certain Barcelona would have won easily.
  15. The ref was a joke apart from the sending off incident as well, apparently :mackems:
  16. Last four updates on the BBC Sport Football Live Thingy: 2148: Yep, Wenger has had his say, about the Robin van Persie red card, I would think. BBC pundit Lee Dixon just called it a ludicrous decision and he is right - the whistle had only just gone when Van Persie had his shot, and how the heck was he expected to hear it anyway over the noise of a crowd of 95,000. I won't gloss over the fact that Barca were dominating possession, but the score on the night was 1-1 when that decision changed the rest of the game. RuuAndThatsAll on Twitter: "I'm in tears I can't help myself. Will I ever see us lift the Champions League. Ever? The ref ruined it & I stand by whatever Arsene Wenger says." 2151: I should also point out that Arsenal managed precisely zero shots on target tonight (their goal was a Barca og) but they were in the game, and ahead on aggregate when they went down to 10 men. That's a fact. It will be very interesting to hear what Arsene Wenger has to say to the press about it... 2153: And I know it's not just me who is sick of refereeing decisions being the main talking points after games. I wish we were talking about some mesmerising football too. But, when the officials get big ones like that wrong, they have to face the music. They won't though...
  17. Arsenal supporting mate starts blaming the ref
  18. BBC says 68-32 although they're usually out. Sky Sports Score centre says 75-25.
