It's just hilarious that someone over at The Sun thought it wasn't just newsworthy, but even first page worthy that Nolan got some pictures sent to his phone three years ago, to which he replied with "nice pics"

Nah, Arsenal lost.
-
Two days.

Fuck him, players like him, Michael Owen, Oba Martins, Beye, and every other cunt who thought they were bigger than the club. Look where they are all now. On benches.

He didn't even sleep with her, he got some pictures sent to his mobile from her! :frantic:

Much rather start Ranger than Lövenkrands.

How do you mean? We've consistently shown this season against clubs supposedly better than us that we can win (Villa, Everton, Arsenal, City bar a dodgy ref). I think in the long run as well that we'll win more at home than lose. We've consistently shown this season that we can't get the tactics/mentality right against those clubs supposedly worse than us [/devils advocate] Sunderland? I don't care what the pundits or mackems says, they are not "supposedly better" than us.

How do you mean? I had just finished a three paragraph long post explaining it, but Chrome shut down just as I pressed post Can't be arsed typing it again, but the basic gist of it is that I think we are better than the results showed against Blackpool and Stoke and that Hughton has learnt from those games.
-
I for one can't see us losing against both and Blackburn and Fulham tbh. I think we're looking at at worst two points from those two games, with four being a realistic target. We're in good form now, certainly better than both Fulham and Blackburn, we should be able to pick up points against them. I know the same can and will be said about Stoke and Blackpool, I think they were more fluke results rather than Villa/Sunderland/Everton/West Ham.

And a few weeks ago, we lost two and drew one against three of the worst teams in the league. I'm fucking delighted about where we are and how well we're doing atm, but beating Arsenal and Sunderland doesn't mean we didn't lose to Blackpool and Stoke. No, but it should mean that we are very capable of getting more than enough points to stay clear of the relegation battle. Of course things can happen during the season, Carroll might get AIDS or Colo cut his hair, but I can't see us going on such horrible runs as we did last time around, which we would have to do now to drop into the relegation zone.
-
Would've been 1-1 at half time had he not jumped ship
-
Can't believe anyone saying yes to this right now. IMO we have proven that we should be no where near the relegation zone come May. Today we've beaten one of the best teams in the league at their place, if that is not an indicator that we can beat anyone, I don't know what is. We've already won more away games than we did in the entire 08/09 season, we are scoring more goals and our defence is looking a hell of a lot more solid. We've shown that we don't stop fighting when we go a goal down, in fact, it has often made us wake up and go on from there. I say we should be looking at a top half finish, and be happy enough with a 10-13th finish. Anything from 15 and down and I'd be disappointed at this stage.

You were probably too old like Keef.

Hasn't Puyol said that as long as he's playing, he's not getting rid of his hair?
-
According to the chalkboards on the guardians website, in the seven games he's played for us in the league, he's completed 324 passes out of an attempted 344. That's a 94% success rate
-
He did do a fucking class overhead kick in the first half. He's fucking brilliant.
-
I would have, but the thought of seeing a Swede in black and white certainly helped softening the blow.
-
That step over towards the end was C.Ronaldo esque

Tiote would be a steal even at six million iyam.

He seems to be doing what all managers should be doing really, treating every player fairly regardless of their past*, not discarding anyone and being flexible in his views. Consumate pro at the moment. * With the possible exception of Xisco, who I can only assume must be god-awful in training! Shame about Xisco like, after that very decent cameo against Villa (what a ball, man!) I was looking forward to seeing more of him. Doing a good job of easing in Ranger though.
-
Carroll, Coloccini, Nolan, Ameobi and now Simpson seems to be doing it as well. All have improved massively in the 15 or so months he's been in charge
-
I will hold my hands up and say that I never thought he was more than a slightly above average championship player and never thought he would cut it in the premier league, but there is no doubting he's been fantastic since returning from his injury, and is not just because I'm comparing him to Perch. Certainly earned himself another shot, and if he can keep this run up for a longer period of time, then yes, he will have changed my mind.
-
Wouldn't make any sense at all to rest either of the CBs. Only players I would be comfortable with resting would be one of Nolan or Barton to give Routledge a chance and Ameobi for Ranger.
