Exactly, why are we going for a guy that is obviously not a good friend of HBA. He is also known for getting in trouble so i hope this deal won't go through. You two. Just what I was thinking
-
Me too, but what about Pardew?
-
We are only a derby win and a game in hand off that now in all fairness(not that i expect to stay there too long). Mental how open the league has been this year, helps when the scousers both try their best to fail as well though. http://www.statto.com/football/stats/england/premier-league/2009-2010/table/2010-01-16 Surprisingly similar in terms of points distribution really. Not really. Birmingham at 8th (where we are now) were 15 points above the drop, this year we are 7 points above 18th. Quite a big difference there iyam. At the top it's pretty much the same mind (still a bit closer this year, but that might be down to fixtures not having been played).

I agree, who else than him is there linked to us anyway? The Ziani deal isn't going to happen either. Since when does anyone being "linked to us" make any difference? We know that NUFC don't tell the press anything any more. That's not strictly true since Pardew became our manager tbf. Still think we'll probably end up signing someone this window, but even if we don't, I'm not too unhappy with our current squad.

Taylor's out [/millionth time] Yet that's not even the worst part of his post. Never, ever go away from playing 4 at the back. Never.
-
Btw, there's nothing new in Swedish media today regarding us or anyone else when it comes to Larsson.
-
Massive blow for them. Surely they have to buy a striker now?
-
Baines is better going forward, Enrique is arguably the best defensive left back in the league.
-
Anyone who wouldn't play a midfield four of Routledge Barton Nolan Jonas* is a certified idiot. Unfortunately, I don't think too highly of our manager *If fit.

Agree. For a top, top player, then yes we might have to go a bit over the top, but this is just Larsson we're talking about; while he's good, he's not now nor will he ever be top class. Him and his agent are acting like he's the best thing since sliced bread. I say if he doesn't want to come here, then fine, f*** off somewhere else and we should move on. Hmmmmm ... are you sure you agree?! I don't know. I thought he meant Larsson's and his agents attitude, but maybe he meant the attitude on here?

Is it just me, or is Jerome absolute wank? Don't think I've ever seen him have a good game. On another note, why take Larsson off if you're bringing on Zigic? Surely when you bring on a big lad like him, that's when you really want a good crosser? Weird substitution IMO.

Fair enough, from what I've seen the contact was enough, but it clearly wasn't. Still, his dive was by far not as bad as Berbatov, I'm not sure Theo's is the kind of dive that would warrant a suspension, while I do think that Berbatov's is.
-
Talk about it enough and it might, just might happen! One thousand Harry Redknapps working a thousand typewriters will end tapping up every player on Earth. I didn't know Spain were so behind that you guys are still using typewriters?

Or Walcott, who actually admitted it! The one that got them the penalty? The defender clearly pulled his arm though, that was a blatant penalty for me (though I only saw it while working, I might not have had a good enough look at it). I thought he admitted afterwards that he dived? No idea tbh, but from what I've seen, that was a blatant foul, but he might have dived after being pulled. Like I said, from what I've seen, the defender clearly pulls his arm, forcing Walcott out of balance (doesn't take that much when you're running at full speed) and he then falls over. If he's admitted that he dived, then I clearly haven't seen the situation properly

Anything happened with Berbatov for his blatant dive against Liverpool on Sunday? Guessing not, which is a bloody shambles.

FA reject unfair dismissal appeal from NUFC for Cheik Tiote

Yeah! How dare he lose the ball and then trip over Tiote. Some people have no class The dick head got up, realised what was going on and went back down. Grade A t*** Conspiracy innit. They're all out to get us Jesus wept. Excuse me whilst I borrow a few sarcastic words levied at me the other day: I said that as you had previously said something along the lines of "guessing that you guys knows better than PM, the referee and his assistant". Not those exact words, but words to that effect. The fact is, the FA would never rescind a red card unless it was absolutely blatant that the ref must have seen the situation wrong (see Zabaleta), don't think anyone of us ever thought the FA would rescind it, even though they clearly should have. -
That's pushing it, but it's pretty close
-
They are about the same when it comes to mobility and tackling, but at least Danny can pick a pack pass every now and then. However, I would much rather just play Barton and Nolan with Routledge out right and Jonas left, and if Jonas is injured, I'd rather bring in young Ferguson than moving Barton left and relying on either Guthrie or Smith to partner Nolan.

Anyone who wouldn't is an idiot.
