  1. Arsenal -1.5, Chelsea and Forest. Decided to bet on whoever is third out of Forest and WBA for the rest of the season now, in the hope of losing money on them
  2. Also, what would be the point in buying a player if he's going to go for free soon? Which their entire squad will if they're wound up.
  3. Watford according to the chronicle Is Watford a period of time now? What has it replaced? 9 hours? 3 days? 7 weeks? My guess would be that it'd be the last month of Chrissy Bee's new calendar.
  4. Been a brilliant signing so far. How many assists in how many games now? Plus a great, and important, goal too.
  5. It's not as if they didn't know about this in January, they should have sold their assets back then when they had the chance. It's not even a month since the window closed, and this thread was made in late December, they had plenty of time to sell their assets and just like anyone else they should be forced to act within the laws of the game. this is the problem with the stupid window businesses can see that things are going to pan years in advance (i.e. General Motors), but they don't sell their asset's as they believe they can turn it around, and then once the shit does hit them, then they do sell their assets, this is why pompey should be allowed to sell their players, also it give's the players security as well No, they shouldn't. Fair enough if something unexpected happened in the last week, then I could see that there might a reason for an exception, but they've known about this for months. As long as the transfer ruling is there, and it is, Pompey should not get any special treatment to sell their players, in fairness to all other teams.

  7. Liverpool, Valencia, Villareal and Fulham
  8. Nah, thought the ref made the right decision. It wasn't a clear goal scoring opportunity as he was going away from goal, but it was definitely a yellow card offense.
  9. Nope, I said he was - based on what I saw - shit, and that's going on his substitute appearances, and reserve outings (i used to, but not so much now, pop down to watch the reserves as I work a stone's throw from both the ground, and Bescot where we used to play our reserve matches for a spell). I've no idea if he'll do it for you at that level, but on a 3.5 year deal and you almost certainly going up, 2.5 of those years are going to be at a higher level. So you're saying we'll be so shit in his last year here that we'll be relegated in January already?
  10. Boourns. You must have been furious with Carrolls missed chance towards the end

Some people seems to love to hate him for some reason. His vision is the best in the team by a fucking mile, not that it's saying much mind. He's also got a good right foot on him and takes a decent set piece. Some people seems to think he should be Xavi by the sound of them sometimes.
  12. One shot on goal in the Wigan - Bolton game
  13. How the fuck does the linesman miss that!?
  14. No point in risking Jonas getting an injury these last ten minutes tbh.
  15. Fucking hell, anyone see that tackle from Klose? Horrible!

This is true, but the competition for that spot is pretty much as wank as it gets.

Didn't Keegan say that was his best position when he signed? I would agree with that tbh. I think he'd have more time on the ball to do his stuff and he can definitely set up the play from there. Not sure he'll be able to stand up to a battering away from home though. I dont know that he is good enough defensively for that? Provided we have players around him with legs they can use effectively for 90+ minutes, then it could work. His vision and some of his long passing was promising last year, Barton is miles better though. I would think they would work well together. Guthrie playing a bit deeper than Barton.
