  1. Thank fuck Enrique has a cool head!, good game so far I would like to see Zoggs on for Geremi more attacking options.
  2. Allardyce was a tactician and that did us no good and as I said earlier in another thread, I saw more tactics from Keegan last night than I have in all of the games under Allardyce. I didn't see the game the other night so I can't comment on that as for Allardyce I never thought he was that big of a tactician he had the reputation stifling other teams if you call that tactics then fair enough!. For whats it's worth I wasn't particularly impressed with his appointment also, I just found the timing of his sacking a little bit stupid.
  3. I personally think and still do it was mistake to hire him, all those Geordies going back to the time when he was in charge thinking he will bring back those days of glory are being over sentimental and day dreaming, he never was a tactition! and the game has become that these days he's out of his depth I'm afraid I would love it if he could prove me wrong but I don't see it happening though, In my opinion he was brought back for the sentimentality which in my opinion isn't forward thinking.
  4. The sport scientist genius of Allardyce truly was revealed in his letting go Nobby and Dyer to replace them with Barton and Geremi (and Smith even!). Who needs creativity when you have grit and ProZone? The fact is both Dyer and Nobby wanted to leave for personal and family reasons nothing to do with Sam.
  5. The loss of revenue alone would be bad enough, I hardly see Ashely being the cash cow everybody seems to think he will be, first and foremost he's a businessman if he sees us going down the drain even more he'll drop us like a hotcake!, most likely sell the club and fuck knows who will we get next, somebody even worse most more than likely.
  6. That means Duff will probably play there, and Zoggs on the left.

    Alan Smith

Must mean we pay THEM £4m to take him. (He's a scapegoat, remember ? ) Still a bargain even if we do pay them, just to get rid of the prick.
  8. Jesus Real Madrid fans are worse the Newcastle's, thought he was doing a good job with them.
  9. Have to agree with this! don't think Luque was Sounesse's choice nor Owen they were Shepherd's trophy signings.

  11. I'm hopeful!, I think we will stay up by the skin of our teeth.
  12. You might need this: http://img72.imageshack.us/img72/4638/bibleno5.jpg Why?
  13. exactly. Few bad results sorts out the men from the boys doesn't it ? Shame you don't have any clue whatsoever what a s*** board really is, or is it that the Halls and Shepherd who attracted you to the club, that you slate for it, have gone now so you've lost interest Says everything really. Give the club up. With that attitude, you're no loss. Jesus Christ give it a rest!, we all know by now how you feel about the "past" board and all of it's achievements and that's the operative word isn't it? "it's in the past" so lets move on.

    If we go down....

I agree! but look on the bright side just maybe we'll have players left who really will give a s***.
  15. Now your living in dream land if you think that. How? Who would we have beat if fat man was still here? Remembe he was the man who started this s*** form We may not have won to many but we certainly wouldn't have lost many either a lot of draws and certainly less goals conceded which I think is going to be a factor come the end of the season.
  16. Speculation based on nowt. Please don't compare Allardyce to Fergie and Wenger, it doesn't help your point. His signings as a whole have been a disaster. Point I'm making is that, every Manager gets some of his signings wrong and I certainly wouldn't be presumptuous saying Sam is better than those two. If he'd had more money, he'd have gone for more turgid dross. Creativity and pace are dirty words in the Allardyce household it seems. But we'll never really know will we!
  17. I wouldn't say all have been a disaster though Beye and Enrique haven't been to bad Geremi showed promise in the beginning but why it didn't continue I can't fathom as with Roz in the beginning. Still think he should have had until the end of the season.

  19. Yes but if he still persists on picking Smith, Duffy Duck and Co, then it is his fault! especially there better options even though they are Sam's buyings. so you want him to play...? if your saying if he picks the s*** players, which makes it his fault....then who is he meant to choose ? our squad is full of garbage, thats how its allardyces fault, keegan can only use whoever there is available, whom allardyce signed For fuck sake I'd play Geremi before Butt, Martins before Smith, Zoggs before Duffy Duck and there definitely players in the reserves who could probably do better than those three.
  20. I'll not defend his team selection for today, I just hope he learns that his experienced players are not good enough and are letting us down. I'll not defend his team selection since he took over.
  21. Great reply Wullie, good to see you countered my post with solid debate. Jesus wept. How can you offer solid debate to the idea of a point at Villa Park, given his shambolic away record up to then? So what, one point difference? We still would have strengthened in the window, and be about 7 points up on where we are, putting us about 12th. When he was sacked I laughed, when Keegan appointed I cried. We missed the boat here lads. Why would the board give money to a manager they didnt want ? Since Allardyce was sacked hes came out and said he didnt get as much money as he wanted so on so on. I cant believe so many people voted no here, the man took apart an average team and made it shambolic, and if he was still here it would have continued to be shambolic. Arsenal would have put more past us, bolton at home would have been suicidal instead of mind numbingly boring. we wouldnt have even threatened blackburn For the simple fact he wasn't their appointment, which was bit stupid, either they should have backed him in the beginning or sacked him there and then. They did back him. Not as much as they should have done. Aye, I wish we'd had another couple of Alan Smiths for £6m apiece. True! but not every Manager gets his signings right, not even the the great Wenger and Ferguson, they all buy some duds from time to time and personally think that Smith wasn't his first choice.
