  1. Don't fancy Charlton this weekend. Nick Bailey will be a big miss and Southampton have brought in a few players, I wouldn't be surprised to see Southampton cause a small surprise.
  2. I wish the journalists would piss off when they clearly know fuck all. They should make something else up, like Ashley shitting all over the wallpaper in the toilets or something, that might actually sound interesting.
  3. Blackburn Liverpool Derby Reading Forest Southampton Gillingham Huddersfield Hearts Cardiff Fulham/Everton £2 returns £9545 Liverpool Reading Blackburn Yeovil Swindon Derby Tottenham/Man U £4 pounds returns £494 Liverpool Chelsea Sunderland Man U Cardiff Forest Boro/Ipswich Fulham/Everton £2 pounds returns £720
  4. Going to have an accumulator this weekend. I've been looking at a few of the Premier League games. I think Man U will win at Spurs baring in mind Tottenham's defensive crisis, Liverpool will comfortably beat Burnley at home, Blackburn will beat Wolves at home as Wolves are missing Kightly and Ebanks-Blake, also Blackburn need to win after losing their opening games.
  5. How shit were Argentina? Maradona is deluded. They are still playing Veron and have 36 year old Martin Palermo coming off the bench? I'm not surprised they got beat.
  6. He looks like a jack in the box.
  7. I've always though Enrique's strength has been one of his strongest points of his game, he lacks acceleration not pace. I think his decision making has improved a lot, he seems to be making the right passes at the right time, he knows when he pass short and when he needs to go long. I think he's referring to Coloccini. I agree then
  8. I seriously don't think there's any other option than Shearer. When you choose a manager for Newcastle United you've got to seriously consider what the fans will be thinking, if the manager hasn't got a good reputation or is isn't associated with the club then anything but immediate success becomes a disaster in the fans perspective ultimately putting pressure on the whole club.

  10. Yes I still want Shearer. Where did this Hughton bollocks come from? We've played 5 games in the Championship and suddenly it's fine that he continues until the end of the season. I think Hughton has handled the situation perfectly and the start of the season is very impressive and I'm pleased for the guy, he's been put in a difficult situation and handled it exceptionally, but he isn't going to be our permanent manager and that increases the lack of stability for the future. Good luck Chris, but I sincerely hope we have an owner and manager in place so we can say "This is our owner, this is our manager, let's start progressing."
  11. You'd atleast expect them to get the scores to matches right, amateur nonsense They are..

    Nile Ranger

Played pretty well, should have shot a few more times but elected to pass, but that will come with confidence.
  13. That's ridiculous, they need to carry out more testing.

    How many games?

How does the two options work?
  15. Sunderland should be aiming for the top half.
  16. Clever signing but a big mistake for Tuncay.
  17. They should have done this a long time ago.
  18. Against Rapid Vienna at home? Yes. The result wouldn't be so surprising against the Villa side that were before the times of Martin O'Neill, that shows you the progression that this result is practically a disaster. Who's to say Rapid Vienna won't go on to reach the latter stages of the competition? Just because it's "Rapid Vienna" A name that hardly fills you with excitement doesn't necessarily mean they aren't a good side.
