  1. Personally speaking, i've watched Beckford for two years at Elland Road and he often looks a woeful player in league 1, he'll last a few games at best in the premiership before everyone at SJP turns on him. you've a season ticket at elland road ? I think what he's trying to say is that his general play can be pretty poor, but there's no doubt he's a goalscorer.
  2. I still think he'd be a good signing. He's always looking to play off the last man, he doesn't get involved in much build play. All my mates tell me he needs 5 or 6 chances to score, but that tells me he's capable of getting into positions most strikers wouldn't, I don't mind that.
  3. Watched him today, very poor but the whole team were.
  4. Going to their game tomorrow, be interesting to see if he plays.
  5. http://ngoisao.net/news/the-thao/2009/01/3b9c7cdf/michael-owen-01.jpg Owen definitely isn't two footed. Beckford is far quicker aswell.
  6. He's almost certainly going to come, I'm quite excited about it aswell. I do have an issue with his lazyness though, especially as it's something our fans will pick up on almost immediately. There's no middle ground, he'll be a big favourite or a major issue with the supporters.
  7. My opinion of Zlatan has definitely gone up since he joined Barcelona.
  8. I don't think you'll finish above Man City, they've got many more gears to go to after January. I don't think there's much between you and Aston Villa.
  9. Tottenham are a good side, but won't reach the top 4 this season. I think they're about 3 players from being able to challenge the top 4 consistently. I'd say there's probably 6 better teams than Tottenham.
  10. Some guy on the Leeds Forum reckons Beckford has handed in a transfer request.
  11. Coloccini is a good player. He's more than good enough to play for us, in the Championship, and in the Premiership.
  12. We're going up with or without Harewood, though, I'd keep him if we had the choice.
  13. Shit performance all round. Good result in the end, we deserved fuck all. There's no flow in the midfield when Butt and Nolan play together. It's clear Guthrie needs to play centrally alongside Nolan, or Butt plays alongside Guthrie and Nolan plays behind one striker.
  14. Hughes has done a terrible job. The results are poor considering the squad he has at his disposal. I don't care about the squad gelling stuff, they should be doing better. Guus Hiddink would be an excellent acquisition.
  15. I haven't read the previous posts. Give him a stand ffs Why does everything have to be over complicated? Should someone write him a C.V to be nominated. He's a legend in football. A legend at the club. Give him the stand.
  16. Thanks for giving us 7 minutes to guess.
  17. So in other words, its completely irellevant Yes. I get the impression you do actually believe he'd be a plausible signing.
  18. There's no way Paul Robinson should be even considered to play for England. I appreciate that the goalkeeping standard in the country is pretty poor in comparison to the rest of our squad, but we're fucked if he's starting. I'd rather have David James over all of them.

Or maybe we made him look worse because our central midfielders all sat back watching instead of offering options? got to question the coaching and other stuff at the club as duff is now playing much better, milner is,bramble is and we pissed n'zog and soooooo many others off into not giving a s***. Duff and Bramble couldn't play any worse. I'd like to see if they are actually playing much better, they aren't as scrutinized as they were here. Bramble is making the same amount of mistakes as he was, mistakes that would be criticised for weeks on end here, that won't be the case at Wigan. As for Milner, he's simply playing in a better team. What rubbish. What is? You'd think Bramble was Rio Ferdinand the way you go on about him.

Duff has played around 10 games. I don't believe the fans were labelling Duff as a terrible player after that period. Bramble may well have played better at Wigan, maybe he couldn't handle the pressure, but he's still making the same mistakes and will continue to do so.

To be a good player at Newcastle United, you have to be either playing in a good team, or have the ability of Cristiano Ronaldo.
