My exact feelings. Fletcher worryingly good start though. Shelvey looks incredibly piss shit

The club shop is spiralling out of control more and more. Next they'll launch wedding dresses and coffins.

How long is it since we turned a Premier League game around to a win? Last I can remember is West Ham away in 10/11 -
I know Anita has expressed his desire to cement a spot in our midfield (perhaps Pards gave him & his father assurances re-selection, in order to secure his signature), but i think Holland's fullback positions are well & truly up for grabs at the moment. A lengthy spell at RB represents an ideal opportunity for him to stake a claim for selection. Forging an effective attacking understanding with Ben Arfa (and being solid defensively, and he looks a tough one-on-one match-up for any winger) would put him in the selection window. I want Anita to be part of a three man midfield, I think he could complement Tioté and Cabaye very well. But he really seems to have all the attributes for a modern fullback. Quick, good technique, tough tackling and good passer. Can put a cross in as well.

I think our poor start coupled with the injuries and Pardew's expected decision to start 4-4-2 again (then switch to 4-3-3 second half) is enough for us to know what we're in for. I hope we kickstart a good run with a win but really can't see it. -

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK -
I see Ryder is still running with the "Lille moved the goal posts" bullshit. The same bullshit Debuchy was spouting? Don't think much of Ryder but he probably picked that up from the player himself (not directly of course). Every other media outlet in Europe reported that we'd bid way below their valuation. Ryder reported a couple of days before that fee had been agreed and was too proud to back track. Anyway, who cares.

That's our three keys to keeping clean sheets and mount any sort of threat to the opposition goal at the moment. However, I think Cissé in his spring form should be considered even more important. Won us games with his finishing.

1. Krul 2. Coloccini 3. Ben Arfa 4. Cabaye 5. Tioté 6. Cissé 7. Santon 8. Jonas 9. Ba 10. Taylor 11. Perch

Pardew should just let him roll with it, d'you know what I mean?

I had an unreasonable and unexplainable amount of love for him during that one season at Birmingham Unexplainable? Really? Nothing to do with the fact that he was a beast of FM that year and you could always sign him for NUFC?

I think the money influx and global brand of the Premier League has destroyed a generation of potential England internationals to some extent. Only players with exceptional talent that have emerged since around 2003 have been able to get regular games at the highest level. No time or patience for those who show promise to be blooded in the right environment. Instead players are sat on the bench or playing in lesser sides that struggle against the big clubs, largely populated by foreign imports. The generation that should have taken over from Lampard, Gerrard, Ferdinand, Owen etc. haven't got the experience. I think the examples in recent times, Sinclair, Adam Johnson, Sturridge, Richards, Carroll etc would have been a better and more mature group of players had they not been constantly in and out of their first team.

I would imagine it being the other way around with Pardew not trusting Anita to play in a midfield two as he would have to cover a lot more ground. I'd love it if we went there with Tiote-Jonas behind Cabaye and just bossed the game. I know we could. Still waiting to see this: Krul Anita Taylor Coloccini Santon Tioté Jonas Cabaye Hatem Marveaux/Ba Cissé like that...if colo and krul are fit? would start ba over marveaux on the left Krul sounds as if he's going to be OK, right? As for Colo, Perch will have to do in the meantime. I guess he'll be the one stepping in. Got the start ahead of Williamson against Spurs at least. -
Be nice to see them qualify. Personally would like to see Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Uruguay and Venezuela make it as the 5. Ecuador are flying at the moment though. Tim Vickery spoke highly about them on the last WFPI. Mentioned Darwin Quintero as someone who could make it big. Would be nice to see them in a WC again. Always think of the Escobar documentary when I think about Colombian football. Would be nice to associate it with something else.

I actually think they have some decent backup in Kacaniklic (who is highly rated in Sweden) and Kerim Frei, who impressed a lot last season.

Losing Dembele and Dempsey sets them back an awful lot. They looked really good before that and were pretty much a good forward away from competing with us IMO.
