  1. Every report indicating that the next man will be Carr's choice fills me with hope. Will be devastating when we get Hoddle or Carver.
  2. It's better than "made me want pour boiling water over myself" which has been the case for the past three years.
  3. Think his reputation took a toll after Rangers, remember him being very criticised when there.
  4. Mark Douglas ‏@MsiDouglas #nufc managerial exclusive in the Sunday Sun & up online around 10. Have spoken to someone interesting who wants the job (CL experience)...
  5. Very true, only way to restore some pride.
  6. Just watched his interview. Sounds fucking broken
  7. Of course he did. “My romantic vision is to aim a bit higher than that. “I am not being disrespectful to Palace as it is still a club which is close to my heart. “As a club, Palace are trying to grow. “One year in is not growing, you need that second and third year as Hull have done. “You look at them and they look like an established Premier League side.”
  8. And this is where Wullie tried to kill everyone's hope.

  11. - Alan, just sign the contract. - I can't. - Why? - I don't know. It's science against me.

    John Carver

This second half is one of the worst I've ever seen us produce.
  13. This one was good, some new angles. http://www.themag.co.uk/the-mag-articles/pardew-careful-wish/
  14. Ex-players as pundits is one of the maybe three worst things about football.
  15. It's true though, if someone told me about all Pardew's records at NUFC I'd not believe them.
  16. Incredibly happy. Filled with hope. Tomorrow I'll want my team to win again.
  17. Have to say, in all this, one thing makes me happier than evertything else. The Pardew appointment was a calculated one, the outmost expression of Ashley's non-existant ambition. That "project" has failed. He'll struggle to find someone willing to champion Wonga, get behind Sports Direct and other soul-drenching measures, dedicate wins to the owner, advertise players ahead of every transfer window and carry the message of a club that refuses to be the best it can. Pardew was willing in establishing the new "truth" about our reality, about Ashley's NUFC. That's no more. This has forced Ashley into re-thinking. If he tries the same thing again, the same will happen. Anyone slightly worse than Pardew will almost certainly have us relegated, in which case Ashley will be concerned for real. Pardew gone is a massive blow to Ashley's NUFC. That's a really good thing.
  18. Regarding this whole "he's from the south" bollocks. Have to admit, when I submitted my photo for this campaign, and I think this goes for most of the people who took part, it was mainly because he's from London.
  19. Ashley picks the team
