  1. Hennessey ffs. Enrique looked a better keeper the other week.
  2. I don't think it'll take £50m
  3. What do people reckon; will the membership rules apply for buying away tickets in Europe as well? I have to go this time.
  4. Spurs defending is getting worse and worse. King looks completley off form, Kaboul is out and Gallas is very inconsitent. Dawson out as well. I think they'll concede a lot towards the end, and they play Bolton/QPR away, tough games.
  5. Ben Arfa's second half performance against the mackems. Turned the season in our favour again just as we were about to lose our way.
  6. Haven't seen Carroll much better than this since his move. Puts himself about, finishing is horrible though.
  7. fuck me just try not to be so immensely shit for once
  8. Great upturn in form here recently, really contributes and has an impact on games now that he has more license to go forward. However, his corners are so rubbish it hurts my eyes. It's been a problem all season, but we've score ONE goal from a corner and hit the bar once or twice. Abysmal.
  9. Imagine Hoilett-Cissé-Ben Arfa. We'd win 10-0 every game.
  10. May be able to help you as well.
  11. As always, Stoke have nothing to play for.. very much doubt they'll be giving away monnaie for injured opposition. And if anything, De Jong will be mindful of his tackles on Ben Arfa. He's a brutal player but he's not a brainless chav like Catts for example.. He may have more of footballing brain on his shoulders, but he's still instinctively brutal though. Players like that are untrustworthy. A harsh bodycheck, right into HBA'a thigh/hamstring area (and that would only draw a yellow, as a first offence) would be enough to do the job. On a game-by-game basis (even with nothing to play for) there's little room for compromise in Stoke's physical or battering ram style of play. The player I'd worry about from now on til the end of the season is Balotelli. If he's in the mood he could seriously hurt any of our players, most likely Hatem.
  12. Cue £12m bid for Graham Carr?
  13. Comolli sacked according to Tony Evans at The Times.
  14. I think we're in for some serious drama if we beat Stoke and Wigan now. I'm not sure I could handle that sort of end to the season.
  15. What I think it'll be in contrast to my opinion in the OP. Joe Hart Patrice Evra Rio Ferdinand Vincent Kompany Bacary Sagna Antonio Valencia Yaya Touré David Silva Gareth Bale Robin van Persie Wayne Rooney Player of the Year: Paul Scholes Young player of the Year: Gareth Bale
  16. Don't if it's too early, but was having wild discussions about this yesterday with a few mates (four of us had the same back four and keeper). Went for the following. Tim Krul Patrice Evra Vincent Kompany Fabricio Coloccini Branislav Ivanovic Clint Dempsey Yaya Touré Alex Song David Silva Robin van Persie Wayne Rooney
  17. I think the drive and will in our squad will be fantastic for the rest of the games. Form won't work in the same way it usually does, not when an opportunity like this presents itself. Many of our players probably have their one and only chance of experiencing Champions League football if we make it, so I think we'll see some very dedicated performances. Also, Tioté back and fit for the last five games gives us another dimension and increases our ability to control games. At Stamford Bridge and Goodison Park he could be the difference.
  18. How are they going to beat Everton? No keeper. Brad Jones? Please.
  19. 5th, too big a ask to beat Chelsea and/or City and/or Everton.
  20. I think we need to win the next two games and then two out of the last three to have a chance at foruth. #bbcpredictor
  21. Tiotés injuries this season is hopefully nothing we have to get used to (if he stays). Really gives us another dimension and bosses most midfields he's up against. Frustrating in the same way you - at times - wondered how we'd fare with Kieron Dyer.
  22. Loads of buttons on Lawro today. As long as Norwich keep Lambert they will progress. Magnificent manager by the looks of it.
  23. What is happening? What in the world is going on?
