Is he really a character you want to build your team around? Don't think Balotelli is a bad player at all. Has attributes to be a very good forward. His reputation and price tag suggests far more than that though.

Milan are on decline. They sign his name more than his abilties. He wasn't that special at the Euro's. Haven't seen him do anything to suggest he's close to the player he's built up to be. In Sweden I think his reputation has been built by those desperate Serie A romantics who wanted Pirlo to get Ballon D'Or and use the word "grande" for anything they regard as good. In England, I get the impression he's been built up by the fact Mancini regards him so highly.

Does anyone think Balotelli is any good? By far the most overrated player in Europe imo.

I think Pardew has a different view on Campbell in comparison to the rest of the younger players. He clearly values his potential, but he's been very restricitive and cautious about using him. However, looking at his recent comments he's willing to let Ferguson and Sammy go out on loan, whereas Campbell is seen as someone who can push for a place. His comments on the squad for Villa for example: I really think he'd be an option late on in games. Seems fearless and talented enough.

This issue getting solved is as big as any signing. Will have huge impact on our season.

I would be happy enough with this. Nah. No real reason to put Perch in midfield, should definately be Anita.

Tbh, Tioté slotting in when he gets back, keeping things simple, winning the ball back and tackle the shit out of every midfield he comes up against. We'll be laughing. My problem then is Anita. I still regard him as our most modern and functional midfielder. He's going to be absolutely brilliant in time. If we control games I think him, Sissoko and Cabaye is our best pick.

We have the three fullbacks we need. Debuchy right, Santon left. If anyone gets injured, Haïdara steps in and we can move Santon to the right. Lets try and keep it that way for more than a couple of weeks.
