Smashing player and seemingly a very good guy. Really hope we don't lose him anytime soon. He's only 24 as well, brilliant milestone.

Why? Don't think he's said anything weird. Don't think he's been disrespectful either. -

With Marveaux back I'd go with this: Krul Debuchy Yanga-Mbiwa Coloccini Santon Anita Cabaye Gouffran Sissoko Marveaux Cissé -
Looks like someone from The Wire

Shortest contract EVER.

The Milky Way's most overrated player of all times in the history of man kind.
-
I think Graham would be the perfect backup for Cissé, would be great if we got him.

Enough with the Taylor bashing. People make him out to be a liability because they want Yanga-Mbiwa to play. I too want him ahead of Taylor, but I've seen Taylor labelled all sorts of things today. His performance yesterday wasn't below par as some seem to suggest and even if he's not the calming influence Coloccini is, his application and determination comes in very handy when we're under pressure. And now he's being blamed for our hoofing too? Please.

Is Hazard out? -
One of our most important players for the rest of the season. We'll need his goals badly.

Have to say, no matter what feeling we're left with from yesterdays performance, I think the mood within the squad will be lifted. A bit of momentum, Benitez under pressure. I reckon this is a fairly open affair. When the football was shit last season, especially in the games leading up to the Norwich win that started the 6 game winning run, things turnede for us after scraping 3 points. That win started the best spell we had all season. -
Steven Taylor takes credit for it on .co.uk

Yohan Cabaye (now sporting coordinator at Paris Saint-Germain)

Sissoko seems a bit more dynamic so I'd not be completley against playing him in the nr 10 role. Cabaye can still push forward if we keep someone defensive minded by his side. His closing down is top class as well, wins us the ball and pressures the opposition into mistakes all of the time. We look a different side with him. As for his handling of Jonas etc yesterday, what a leader and great example he is. I love him. -
The thought that scares me the most and takes away much of the excitement for me is this. We have such a talented squad, we have a brilliant scouting system and a board capable of pulling off the most incredible deals for exceptional players. As long as this man is our manager, we're more than likely to throw everything away. It won't matter what players are put in his lap - the tactics, hesitation, negativity and tactical confusion will remain. Game after game, he puts on players in positions they're not suited to. He changes the formation to something not even remotely looking like a footballing side. He reverts to hoofing as soon as we score. He worries about the opposition, never has them worrying about us. These are his characteristics as a football manager. It only gets you that far. He's at fault for our position and struggles this season and he will not be able to take us forward in any shape or form.

It was a game that reminded me of several performances from last season. Score, then cling onto that goal. He rides his luck and relies on Krul and Coloccini - just like last season. It's shit and without doubt, we have the most cowardly negative manager in the League.
-
Our 2nd choice striker.
-
Not really angry with Jonas, more so with Pardew who persists with him and does it for 90 mins. His legs have gone and he can barely muster the energy to receive the ball. It's so evident. If nothing else he needs a rest.
-
Like all other players he's good when we're not inviting pressure.
-
He looks a Sunday league player at this rate. Can't receive the ball, can't pass it, can't shoot, can't cross, can't tackle. Can barely run.
-
Quite an achievment how close he came to doing the exact same thing again.
