He talks a lot of bollocks in that interview, but this bit is worth pointing out imo. He STILL thinks this is how you win football games. Just defend and let the 3 lads up front work it out. -
60 minutes. But, yes, he should definitely be judged on that one game. Forget what has happened (bad and good, please don't hit me), and what is yet to happen. The derby is the game for him to be judged on. You still ignoring his entire career before NUFC?
-
I'll say this for him, his management is the main reason I've stopped going to watch the team. I'm well aware of the main problem at NUFC, anyone who pays a bit of attention to the club is, but the football is so bad under this idiot that I just can't be arsed.
-
Have you ever played with or against someone who's made it?

Played against Ramage quite a few times, him for Whitley and me for N Shields when we were school kids, played against his school team a few times as well but I can't remember which he was at. Always thought he was pretty average -
PDC's getting far too much credit imo. We all know who really got the demolition job underway, don't we Brummie?
-
Such a wum cunt. Careful now, Inochi will be along to assess your conduct.
-
You can't tell if our manager just isn't very good? He's been worse than useless for roughly 250 days, and that's a conservative estimate. I can see what's going to happen now, just as the picture begins to come into the sharpest focus everyone's going to decide its been the players fault all along. Then JFK's going to prove it for you all.
-
How much better? Got a pie chart?

Smash these fuckers! -
Credit to him for leaving Anita in when it would have been easy to drop him instead of Cabaye.

interesting to see how pardew approaches the derby like, regardless of their form, after the last reaming i find it hard to imagine a scenario where he won't be paralysed with fear - if they do us again given their insane start to the season then people will turn against him imo, he'll know this They beat us 0-3 at home and people still ask him for a wave, man

Hush now, it doesn't fit the narrative. What a load of sweaty arse crack. Cisse gets enough criticism in his own thread and several others round here, you've justified comparing jozy with the most out of form player on our books. Cracking, he's Americas best player as well yeah? Your boy has been shit so far, equally as shite as his hull days. Hopefully for you he'll score against us and you can be proud of your nations talents once again. First, I've never claimed he's our best player. He's not. I've only ever claimed he's better than he's given credit for by some of you hellbent on your anti-Mackem/anti-Yank crusade. He has not been shit. Next to Giaccherini, he has easily been the best player on a very poor team. RVP himself wouldn't be scoring for Sunderland at the moment, they're just that bad. And to pre-empt your next quip, no, that statement is not akin to saying "Altidore is just as good as RVP." His hold-up play has been quite good, he makes smart passes, and he can rip off a good shot. When he gets the ball, which is few and far between. Amazing how whenever he receives service for the U.S., he scores. Whenever he received service for AZ, he scored. Of course, 'CONCACAF and the Eredivisie are shit' blah blah blah and all that utter nonsense. It's funny that, for instance, "Sessegnon was their best player over the past few years, albeit bang average." Now that he no longer plays for Sunderland, "he's a really good player." Some of you are utterly incapable of objectivity when it comes to Sunderland. It's a childishness that extends far beyond football and, from outsiders' perspectives, is wildly pathetic. Sunderland is a nothing team from a nothing city with no history. If you want to be taken seriously by the rest of the country (and, despite pretending not to care, so many of you constantly bemoan the fact that Newcastle is slighted by southerners), stop comparing yourselves to Sunderland and start comparing yourselves to the Liverpools and Manchesters of the football world. Hold yourselves to a higher standard. I'm quite ashamed I caught one so big. Apologies for making you look like a soft tart. It doesn't change the fact that what I said was correct. I'm hardly the only foreigner, here or otherwise, with that perception of the northeast. No it wasn't. Saying that Altidore has looked shit this season isn't comparing Newcastle and Sunderland, it's just saying he's looked shit. You were the one who compared him with Cisse. I don't care which nation he's from, I really don't. He's looked terrible, and I came into the Sunderland thread to mention it, not the USA thread. Just shut up.

It's not even smug English fucks. It's small-minded Geordies. No wonder this club has no ambition at the moment, they've received implicit signals from the fanbase that finishing ahead of a crap team is the ultimate benchmark. Listen to you two He's just not very good in this league, man. Bloke can't dribble ten feet without mis-controlling the ball.
-
Hush now, it doesn't fit the narrative. Makes absolutely no difference who he's scored the same amount as, he's rubbish.
-
Altidore is worse than average, like.
-
Absolutely, there was always going to be a hang over from Ferguson. You simply cannot follow him.
-
Southall was a brilliant keeper even when I watched him in his mid-late thirties. Yep
-
The desperation to prove we're not hitting it long as much as we used to . We know, man. We can see it with our eyes. The thing is, it's actually counter productive unless the players move around a bit.
-
Oh, so last season wasn't completely shit? I could have done with you and your stats then Happy Face, to cheer me up. Where were you?

I've never understood the view to boo your own players off the pitch. I'm sure a lot of fans thought this and it was kind of only on the extreme days the boo boys would come out but now it's like just accepted to boo every time a poor show or defeat takes place. Madness, does nobody any favours. Understand the odd frustrations standing up yelling at a couple of players now and then to buck their ideas up but some of the shit Pardew/Jonas/Tiote get is just ridiculous. I've never booed because it's pantomime stuff, I was trying my best to get people to stop booing during the Allardyce time. I reserve my right to shout anything I want at a player/manager though, as long as it's not racist or homophobic or any of that stuff that's clearly too far.

We've been here a million times, Moyes had a better record and a worse squad. You f*** off. It's fickle to believe that you would have accepted it and backed him to stay after the lowest points tally and a 17th place, god dam even i would have wanted him out. I would admit that, i've been very judgemental in the past with wanting managers out. I was one of those who thought Bobby’s time was up, I’m ashamed to admit it now but I was. If Moyes had of arrived and had that kind of season, I’d have been saying sack him and get someone ‘class’ in. I thought Bobby was done as well, I'm happy to admit it. I can't say whether I would have wanted Moyes out, I can say that I would have looked at the evidence before I made my decision though, at the squad, and at his past record. Both of those things would have reflected better on him than they do on Pardew.
