  1. Not really. I signed up for it and cancelled in February for this season so now I don't have one. Many more will cancel for next season. Dead easy to do. I wish they'd grow a pair of balls and cancel now, write off the money.
  2. But, everyone knows he couldn't care less what anyone says or thinks about him!!

We'd have someone else to want out, at least it would be different? I quite fancy hating some different flaws for a bit.

I'll never ever forgive him for 0-3, no matter what happens. I just resent him that little bit more tonight. Such a poor manager, man.
  5. You'll find a few feel the same way, it's not fair weather. Essentially Ashley has beaten the life out of watching NUFC and taken any pride/enjoyment out of watching us Aye, beaten the life out of it. While his methods of cost cutting work well with shops. Theres not two types of shopping. no better shopping to get up the league. People either like shopping or not. ( i hate it but thats another story). And if they like it they will maybe like it more if the product is cheaper. This simply doesnt work with football, theres a desire to be entertained by the viewing public. How long can this be ignored? It'll be ignored until enough people stop going.
  6. Being in possession of the ball due to the other team's inadequacy doesn't constitute playing well. We're absolutely clueless in possession and that's been a constant feature of our play under this bell end.

Who motivates the team? Sorry, I'll re-phrase, who is supposed to motivate the team? Don't know mate. Doesn't make a difference. As if a different manager is going to lead to any sort of success Were a mess. Manager's don't make a difference? We've been shown up once again, you can change your mind you know, scientists do it all the time. Just tell it like it is, our manager's shite.

Ten men behind the ball and defending a point is our default, man.

Win it how? With loads of possession due to how bad they were, but with absolutely no fucking idea how to fashion a chance?

This, this, and a million times this. Can someone make Alan Pardew leave my football club please? This stopped being fun ages ago. We can't even beat the fucking mackems anymore

    Football Tattoos

I've got NUFC on my toes. It's the most (North) Shields tattoo I could think of.
  12. It seems that despite trying to adopt a different frame of mind after 0-3, it hasn't really worked. I just always fancy us against these lot, confident.
  13. Nah it's alreet, innocent until proven a twat
  14. If you want to shrug your shoulders and just broadly collect two thirds of the division together like that, then cool. I see there being clear differences between you and Sunderland beyond the tangible aspects you've mentioned (which, fwiw, provide a massive distinction by themselves). That's not some pro-Newcastle bollocks just because I'm here. I think the difference is clear to see. Going "well, at the end of the day, we're pretty much on the same level looking for the same things" strikes me as lacking passion and conviction. I'm not using the word "purpose" in a strict, literal sense either. No club is definitively "meant" to do X, Y or Z, but it's clear where Sunderland's position is. I think trying to categorise yourselves as being in roughly the same position is to do a massive disservice to you as a club, and would seem in line with the systematic attempts of lowering of fans' expectations your owner/manager appear intent on persisting with. Bullseye.

    Sunderland

I vowed after last season that I'll stop being so over confident in these games. It's tough this week.
  16. Seriously? a 2-2 draw made up for our worst home defeat in your lifetime? (I'm going to assume your not ancient) For the manager - yes - as it was the complete opposite of the intent shown in the 0-6 and he got everything spot on. Mbiwa and a little bad luck lost us the three points. You do realise you're exhibiting the exact sort of behaviour that you try to ridicule others for on almost a daily basis?
  17. With a point? It was a good result and performance, we should expect one of those now and then.
  18. I had Ozil as captain until physioroom and the Fantasy League had him as having a late fitness test. For fucks sake man.

Agree with most of this. One word of caution though, most of our joy came from lofted diagonal balls over the top, which seems to be our default attacking tactic, so I'm not entirely convinced we had an attacking plan to suit this game in particular, it was more the pressure we put them under that told imo. Much better though, I genuinely enjoyed the first half, and I haven't said that about any 45 mins for what feels like a year.
  20. Tiote was definitely having a good game btw, best I've seen him ages until that bad pass and onside thing.
  21. That's the first time in about 9 months I've actually enjoyed watching us play. Bloody typical sending off.
