I can handle players being a bit shit, he's always pointing the finger though, I can't stand it.

He's been close to our worst player this season but it's been exacerbated by a manager who simply won't drop him. I can't dislike him either, it's not like he shows a lack of effort (Shola) or constantly blames others (Simpson).

It doesn't hasppen that often tbf, he looked a bit fed up by the end today, which isn't like him. I think he's looked livid for months.

Normally try and avoid stuff like this but I think he'll be absolutely desperate to leave this summer.

Sissoko moves it quickly as well, they should work quite well together imo. Has a tendency to hold onto it too long imo, I realise he's got no options like but still. I think that developed the longer he's been here tbh. In the first couple of games him and Gouffran were playing some very smart one-twos. Yeah true.

Is this a different argument? Are you saying we should keep and start Simpson because you believe Pardew can work with him better? Or don't you consider Debuchy a suitable player for Pardew? I'm asking how Simpson going is a sign of progress, when his replacement is already here. And we're still shite. Signing better players is always progress. When Pardew leaves we'll have a better squad than when he joined. We'll be a worse team but we know why that is.

If you're playing a team when moving it quickly is important I'd have him in over Sissoko.

Instructing the players to pass and move would be a decent start. players shouldn't need to be told to that tbf Unless they've been instructed to hold their positions and keep it tight all season. Indeed. Pardew crosses the line between 'a lack of positive effect' and 'negative effect'. Which is why I think he should've been sacked months ago, imo we'd genuinely be better without a manager than with him fucking everything up.

I said this a few weeks ago but I'm going to feel very, very weird about our first 10 or so fixtures for next season. If we don't start very well or lose every single on of them (which SURELY would see him sacked) I'll be really worried that we'll do just enough to keep him here and the team will be beyond saving by January. If we're around 12th-16th in December we're going down. Imo.
