Can we get some stats on why Pardew keeps playing Jonas?

Some people overrate the importance of the manager and that the manager is to blame for almost everything which is no where near true. Players are responsible for their own performances when they go on the field. When a team are out of form collectively for a whole season, that's the managers fault. There are varying degrees of middle ground where certain players have been better/worse in certain games, but I've no doubt where the main fault lies.

I'd like to see some stats on how often particular words are used in this thread. I'm willing to bet that 'magic' and it's variants would be near the top.

I've got Sturridge as well but have decided to go with someone in a game that means something, could be a mistake. I'm top of the work league by 8 points, few fivers riding on it.

I'm absolutely agonising over this weeks captain. Bale, Walcott or Cazorla? All playing in very important games, Bale's at home, Walcott seems to always score against us and Cazorla's coming off the back of 4 assists/he's the type of player we struggle with.

Yeah, that was during the spell that Pardew was handling the situation really well, telling everyone who would listen that Ben Arfa definitely isn't a wide player.

Pardew is a prick. I've never liked him. It was a sad day for me when he was appointed. We replaced one average manager with another average manager, but at least the last one was likeable. People are getting very worked up over ousting the bloke...so we can get another middle of the road jouneyman in to peddle mediocrity. What's the point in that? We might not get relegated next season? We might be able to watch our team attack their opponents? We might be able to go to the match with a bit of hope that we'll provide some entertainment?

There's some tough games in there, and some players missing here and there. But for someone who came here to provide balance and to tame extremism, he's just as bad as the posters he's pulled up.

None of my posts this morning said a word about it until Venky started on about it again. I've only ever mentioned it in response to people incorrectly saying Pardew is playing long ball, based on what we were doing before...not what we are doing now. It's settled afaic.
