the thing is, mcl knee injuries are notoriously fickle. I had a similar problem with my knee and you can do all the running you like without pain at one stage but sometimes the slightest twist can set you back weeks. they're probably better off just resting him for a while especially while guthrie's playing well. he may not tackle and harry as well as Tiote (who does) but I daresay he's been giving it away less.

The fact that Quinn was on the radio less than a year ago saying the club wasn't bringing enough money in and that Ellis was bankrolling them and that the gate receipts were nowhere near where they should be etc and that their was no sign of an improvement on matters and that he feared Ellis would get fed up of bankrolling the club and just leave. Fair enough, just saying it's not beyond the realms of possibility that he's decided to put a big wedge into the club now under an inspirational manager and see how far they can get before FFP comes in.
