bit of both would be nice i think, you dont wanna only have one way of playing imo Owen's good in the air and has a knack of getting on the end of crosses despite his size. Martins has a great leap too. I just don't know why anyone would turn their noses up at a footballer like Saviola just because he's not that tall. i agree with what you're saying, i think owen's fantastic in the air tbh (first goal against the mackems was an amazing finish), i didnt necessarily mean height, but a bit of muscle is helpful up top sometimes, martins has it but still gets knocked off the ball a bit. i'm not saying i dont want any player because they're not tall enough, just a bit of variety would be nice incase we need to scrap a game out a bit.

thats a name i've heard loads but i cant recall ever seeing him play
-
Was it played every game before Local Hero?? not that i know of, i just noticed it being played before our last friendly
-
more importantly, are they gonna play 'born to run' just before it for every game too? that was fucking excellent

In order of Likelihood; Warnock Tiago Larsson add a striker, or if needs be swap larsson for one, and i'd bite your hand off
-
be interesting to hear what people's opinions are on who'll be next through the door, anyone got a hunch?
-
this stuff about him being 'gash upfront last season aswell'. slightly mis-leading i think, at the time he was coming back from a very long lay off and looked un-fit and rusty. if i remember rightly though he started to look much much sharper a couple of games before he was dropped behind the strikers, was spurs his first game there? i've got a feeling it was reading when he started to look like himself.

dont worry guys there's nothing i know that you dont, all i was doing was giving the evidence for why i started saying anything in the first place, which i cant post up here as it'd make the restaraunt look bad if i did. the only info we were given afterwwards is that it was some medical work going on with lua lua. -

I think he'll sign, actually. Pretty confident about it too. i hope you're right mate, i wonder if he's holding on for a five year deal or something like that

sweeeeeet -
if its bollocks its a creative excuse, i'll give him that. actually i might start booking tables in other cities and using the same excuse for cancelling them myself, saying i work for different clubs
-
his girlfriend's working in there tonight so we've asked her to try get any info out of them she can, while remaining professional, ha. for the record it was an e mail of booking confirmation and it wasnt 'i am the club doctor' it was 'my friend is the club doctor and has to travel somewhere to conduct the medical therefore wont be in attendance'. i'm off to the pub with him now, if we find out anything i'll post from my phone.
-
but, stoke? eh?
-
i'm completely bemused by all of this, until collocini signs he's our best centre half ffs
-
no disrespect like, and I do not think you are bullshitting.... but any chance your mate can find out who said player is? or is it top secret stuff? nah there'd be no way, basically the reason he got the info is because he co runs a restauraunt and a booking for tonight went from 3 to 2, and the reason that was given is because one of the people that was supposed to be coming is the nufc club doctor and he's conducting the medical. we both agreed it seemed odd that the person would even give a reason, but there you go, just passing on info.
-
i'm not sure if this info's already been posted but i'll put it up here anyway, as my friend's registered here but i'm not sure if he ever posts, if he's reading, hi stu. he has it on good authority that one of our club doctors is over seeing a medical examination tonight, i'm not normally itk, he just came across this information by chance but it seemed credible, make of it what you will.
