Even if we ignore Ben Arfa, I'm not sure we're getting the best out of the likes of Cisse, Ba, Cabaye and arguably Santon. Dat long ball game man, we've turned into Stoke ever since we lost that game to Fulham.
-
“linked to #NUFC today: technically excellent little player, ideal just behind the strikers” > do we have any use for players like that?
-
When he is clearly getting the best out of the players he has at his disposal. League position and results aren't necessarily the best judge of that.
-
Marveaux is injured you know.
-
Tiote, Colo, Cabaye, Ba, Cisse, HBA, Santon, Krul - would any of these players look out of place in a top 6, or even top 4 side? Sure, squad depth is a problem but the majority of these players have been available throughout the season, and the results certainly show it.
-
His only saving grace is being better than some of the RBs we've had in recent memory.
-
We're 6th but the things that we've had going our way this season, lol. Wolves and QPR away are just two examples that I can remember, I'm sure there have been a couple more where we absolutely mugged someone.
-
We've been doing it all season long. Except the odd spell where we pretend we're Barca.
-
Ferguson LB Santon RB at some point this season, I hope.
-
Probably annoyed at himself more than anything else I suspect.
-
nope Pretty much lost the ball or ran it out every other moment he touched it Meh, missing match fitness/sharpness more than anything else.
-
Right up there with Alan Smith in the "gives plebs like me hope" stakes. If he wasn't an above average athlete...
-
Santon and HBA should just swap flanks
-
Finally, some entertainment
-
Man, Barfa with Demba squared up front...
-
It would be nice if we carried any threat down either flank (except when Santon has a go).
-
Drogba and Gervinho, lololololololol.
-
I think it'd just be a matter of getting used to it, since his dominant foot is on the right it shouldn't take too much to adapt to playing there.

Oxlade Chamberlain is only £4.8m the last time i checked if you are thinking of making a transfer, dirt cheap. He is 5.9m. I got him for 5.7m. Knew everyone would rush to sign him, that's how you make money on this game. Oops sorry my mistake, £5.8m. Still, i transferred HBA out for him, sick of HBA with 0 points. Traitor! Wanted to do the same last week but couldn't decide. :|

"When ur sat in row Z, an the ball hits your head, that's Nile Ranger" #perfectsongfornile Oops, giggs'd

Aye, but that's only because half of the posters on here think HBA should be a combination of Messi and Cronaldo. And Zidane *cough*

Make a good point, having said that i just worry about the midfield battle...... what ever way you want to slice it; Guthrie and Perch are most likely going to get dominated by Parker and Modric...... Quite frankly that worries me, if Tiote and Cabaye was available i would actually be confident of winning. I refuse to take that as a given. Parker and Guthrie are on par. While Modric is obviously better than Perch, Modric seldom causes us any problems and Perch is essentially a defender. He may well neutralise any threat Modric does pose. Even if not, it probably won't make much difference. Both sides rely heavily on their wing play. That's where the real battle will be. Modric to score a screamer against us then. I seem to remember Modric causing us all kinds of problems the last time we played them, can't see Perch being able to stop him all by himself. A big part of our resilience was in our midfield, with Guthrie and Perch we're not going to have that. We'll definitely need 3 in the middle just to stay in the game.

I'd have Enrique and N'Zogbia back. enrique maybe, n'zogbia, no. no need in any way. I'd rather him than Hoilett at least. But yeah not sure where he'd fit in frankly and the same goes for Hoilett, whose only advantage is that he prefers his right peg.

Man, if only that shot swerved just a little less, propa thunderbastard that one.
