In terms of people being fed up of the thread ending up back at the top of the forum, it generally only happens for a few days at a time when there's news regarding him. People can't be surprised when he's now a free agent. Also, people like Footsoldier can't be surprised he gets met by 'rabid Ben Arfa' fans putting his shite to task when it's spouted not long after nigh on seven or eight consecutive posts from people who clearly remember him more fondly than that. I'm not saying don't post in here if you don't agree but if he's going to come out with it, expect the thread to stay at the top for a bit longer.

He is/was incredibly entertaining and a joy to watch. He's a lingering subject because there's no closure. The end of his career here made absolutely no sense given what he was capable of in every game. He was our best player and then he was gone for free. I can understand that, but there are other exciting talents to watch. I personally find the fanaticism that surrounds him on here baffling though. I don't think I know a single NUFC fan in person that gives a shit about Ben Arfa anymore. Each to their own I guess... Other exciting talents that we have half a hope of signing?
