Moyes is a far better manager than Strachan who is already starting to f*** up at Celtic. They will be 2nd next year without a doubt. You're not particularly happy with Moyes though, are you? Three top 7 finishes in 5 years without spending much compared to years of struggling at the bottom before he arrived. Strachan couldn't have done that job and is now making a mess of the huge advantage Celtic had over Rangers. Just because Strachan gives a funny interview people think he must be a good manager. Think I have to disagree. From what I have seen of him he looks like a more effective version of Parker. We are far from being good enough for Sidwell not to be a good option on a free! He's not as good as Parker imo. Decent player but nothing more than that. Worth signing on a free but if I was paying money it would be £2m maximum for Sidwell.

In some countries it is illegal to advertise for alcohol at sporting events (I think France is one) so there have been ocassions where a new sponsor is made specifically for an away game there or no sponsor at all. I'd bet my left bollock that they are fakes. I know the rules on alcohol, they have been in place for many years and either clubs have plain shirts or some marketing gimmick such as LFC having "Probably..." in place of the sponsor. Furthermore, you can only be sponsored by one organisation. If they use two different brand names on home and away kits then that is allowed but Carslberg have nothing to do with Liverpool 08. So as I said, it's fake.

The weekend papers said he was coming to Everton We're moving into a brand new training complex/academy in the summer which is supposed to be one of the largest and best equipped in Europe. Could be a big draw for signing kids like that. As for Leeds- Ken Bates is shrewd. He'll buy the club back for next to nothing having shed the high earners and debt and they'll be ok.

Though I think next seasons kit is an improvement on the current one, at least the neck is symmetrical and I like the slight bit of yellow trim. The zebra stripe things are rubbish but they're on nearly all the new Umbro kits.
