Pienaar wants to stay but only as the top earner (which would put him somewhere over 55k a week) Yak & Yobo will be sold. That's my third hand ITK info

Sounds like a win-win for both. Swap Cesc for Ibra. How is Arsenal putting a massive hole in their midfield to gain an erratic striker a 'win'?

USSR? Honestly, what fucking planet are you living on?

It's a bit of a popular story around here so I've just always thought that it was the true history of the colours.

Maradona is a total idiot. Cambiasso is one of the best in the world at what he does, Zanetti is still the best full back they've got despite his age and Lucho must surely be better than an old Veron and the domestic players he picked. I would have also picked Lisandro ahead of Lavezzi probably. They would have a chance of winning the tournament with a half decent coach.

Of all the kits in football, I hate Barcelona's the most. Red and blue in the pattern its in is really ugly imo anyway. Doesn't help that many of the grocery store employees who I'm guessing are Illegals wear them while they work. I love it because it's very unique. We almost never had to wear an away kit until it became trendy to boost sales, or Levante got promoted. Despite that, the kit is actually copied from another team: *snip Where our Swiss founder played before coming to Barcelona. VI, I thought the Barca colours came from Merchant Taylors which is a private school near Liverpool from the Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merchant_Taylors%27_School,_Crosby

We were linked with Topal for a bit but I'm not sure how much truth was in it. Banega was supposed to come on loan in the summer though. We'd got a work permit for him before Valencia pulled out.

I absolutely hated him when he played for us. He scored that long-range lucky goal in a vital away win at Birmingham when we were dogshit, but I can't remember him doing much else. At all. That was literally THE only thing he ever did. Such a nothing player and he doesn't make up for it with any sort of heart or workrate either. Just looking at him on TV actually annoys me.

We'll take him, how does a deposit of £0 with an annual payment of £0 until 2016 then a final payment of about £1.5m sound? Throw in Alan Smith and a multi-pack of Monster Munch.

Bily's goal was an immense finish. Frustrating player.

This is the worst thread in the history of the whole internets.

btw, gutted I didn't have a bet on Spurs to finish top 4. I said they would in the summer while everyone was having a City wankfest and tipping Liverpool for the title. Would have got good odds.

LOL at City Scruffy deluded twats.

At least he's honest. Though I'm not sure about him getting the tube with his Oyster card. Saw him on Tottenham High Road in the most hideous Bentley known to man after we played at WHL this season. Reg was something like B4E, dodgy white paint job, tinted windows, ridiculous wheels etc

I was astonished Lucho went to Marseille. They're a big club but the French league is only the 4th or 5th best in Europe and, after playing in the Portugese league for quite a while, you'd think he'd want to test himself in England/Spain/Italy before he is too old. Class player though.

Because the ref gave them everything. Referee also gave Barca a ten man advantage for 70 minutes. Shut yourself and stop complaining. If he hadn't raised his hands, he'd have still been on the pitch. It's his own f***ing fault for being stupid enough to push the player away with his hand. And if Barca players hadn't come into contact with Inter players they would not have opportunity to dive. Do not let minor infractions from players excuse vast incompetence for highly paid and qualified referees. The ref had no other option man. He raised his hands above the neck - EVERYONE knows that's a sending off - he shouldn't have f***ing done it. You can shield the ball without putting the palm of your hand on someone's face. There would be numerous reds in every game if we always applied the rules that way. It was just barely above the neck and Motta didn't even look at him while he was doing it, how's he know he was going to touch his face? He's just trying to hold the opponent off. If Busquets hadn't thrown himself on the floor then he wouldn't have even got a yellow.
-
Because the ref gave them everything. Even though he was way stricter with the cards towards Inter? And the stupid sending off after only 20mins? Barca's goal was arguably offside as well which cancels out the wrongly disallowed 2nd one.

Barca are just getting a taste of their own medicine. I hope Inter kick and cheat their way to a clean sheet after that w***** Busquets getting Motta sent off and ruining the match. Even if he didn't cheat it should have been a second yellow imo. I don't agree tbh. Countless times in a match players will try and hold off an opponent by putting their arm out like that. Usually the opponent doesn't collapse like a deck chair and roll round holding their face when there was minimal contact closer to his neck than his nose. Was loving the reaction to the card from Motta though

and if we would have been relegated in '94 or '98 then it would have been the same kind of reaction from other fans. Like I'm sure was the case when Man United went down in the 70's and Villa went down in the 80's. Don't think many people would be interested if Everton went down tbh. Bollocks. I remember in '98 a pretty significant amount of Chelsea fans booing their own team because they were winning against Bolton which kept us up. billy- we have been relegated once iirc but have played the most seasons in the top flight.
