Your wish list would cost a fortune. Looking at £10m for Cole and say, £6m plus add ons for Dorrans. I can't see Dorrans wanting to leave anyway tbh. His best career move is to sit tight at WBA, get a season of regular Prem football under his belt with a team he's settled in and then get his big move when WBA are inevitably relegated in the summer.

Out of interest, why would Roberts be a pointless signing? Everytime I see Roberts he seems to play reasonably well. Not a world beater by any means but no worse than Kalinic who they spent £6m on (though he's got time on his side) and far better than Di Santo (who is wank)

and if we would have been relegated in '94 or '98 then it would have been the same kind of reaction from other fans. Like I'm sure was the case when Man United went down in the 70's and Villa went down in the 80's.

They seriously need to buy a decent right back. Rafael, Wes Brown and Neville on his last legs is a piss poor selection for a title challenging team.
-
Ekotto is shit.

He was far better last season than he has been this season. Based on what I've seen of Villa anyway. He's got no business being at Barca. I'd take the likes of Pienaar and Modric over him any day of the week.

He's incomprehensible. Anytime I see him interviewed I'm just baffled. Tokenism because it's being held in South Africa tbh, they could have got an actual pundit though instead of just a random player. What's happened to Desailly? He's not the best but surely would do a far better job than Adebayor. Or did him playing for France mean he didn't fit the criteria? Oh, and blatantly a Brazil/Spain final.

I still fancy Liverpool to go through unfortunately. Why are they always at home in the second leg ffs.
-
Thing is, apart from van Buyten all of those players are pretty young. They could conceivably play together at the next Euros & the following World Cup if they get their act together.

Premiership players plz. The lad can play, although he's only just turned it on recently. Been watching recent videos of him (specifically) and Reading today for uni purposes and he has been f***ing electric. On current form he could play at the top level, but like I said he's only really come to life in the second part of the season. Definitely will be PL clubs sniffing around him this summer. He's an interesting player. Not your typical build for a footballer. He looks a bit awkward sometimes, this tall, gangly thing going down the wing. When he first signed for them he looked out of his depth but would pull off the odd flash of brilliance. As you said, he's doing it more consistently now and could end up being very good.

Article in the Mail tomorrow about Man Utd wanting Vukic has a footnote about you offering us a Taylor/Yobo swap deal. Nostradamus tbh.

Back to the pre-Istanbul levels then. They've got 20,000 people on the season ticket waiting list though. "Can't get a ticket lad" is the stock answer when you ask them why they don't go the match. What they really mean is "Can't be arsed, I just go the pub"

The pass for the 2nd goal was immense

The only time he looked Prem quality was at Palace years ago. Failed at Spurs, Villa & Pompey since then... maybe it will be different if he carries on getting regular football with you but I doubt it personally.

Started one league game. He's 5th choice behind Jags, Heitinga, Distin & Yobo. He'll leave at the end of the season. I have a feeling Moyes will sell Yobo to raise funds as well, he'd be a good signing for you lot. would that be joseph "what goal am i defending?" yobo as an everton fan friend of mine put it recently he doesnt rate him He's prone to the odd daft mistake but in general he's a good defender. Been a great servent to us for about 8 years now, far better than the likes of Senderos.

He was rubbish for the first half of the season but improved after Kompany started to play centre back more often. Kolo Toure is a clown and Wayne Bridge leaves massive gaps on the left, it would be hard for any player to look good when having to cover not just your own position but for both teammates on either side of you.

No he is not. Upson is not even in the top 5. Only Terry, Ferdinand, and Jagielka are definitely better. King and Woodgate are too injury prone. Others are declining. If you need evidence that you cannot decide on a player at 22, look at Chelsea's best player, Drogba. Where was he at 22? I'd definitely give the Seychelles Superstar a chance if Chelsea offer him to us. Lescott is streets ahead of Upson.

He's really not. (your point still stands though)

take away one huge lump of interest on debt add in cost of new stadium. there are better value clubs everton are the main ones im surprised havent been bought I'm extremely sceptical that we are up for sale despite what Kenwright claims

Mancienne is garbage. He was hyped beyond belief seemingly on the strength of him being a defender that has a decent touch & pass on him. Shame he's weak, can't tackle & is shit in the air then eh?

10% of any profit iirc. Niel might know?

Proof that the Eredivisie is better than Serie A & La Liga
