  1. Does anyone on the away team (or a kind someone from the home team) have goalkeeper gloves? I thought I had some at home but it turns out I don't.

  6. Ok, here are the away team lineups. I've tried to fit players into their preferred positions for at least one third of the game. Kendahltomasson, I forgot Chris had already volunteered for a stint in goal so in the end I didn't need you. If for whatever reason I have cocked up your positions, please let me know and I'll try my best to change them (Kaizero was the only one not to come back to me so fingers crossed one of your two positions works). If not, I'm happy for straight changes to happen, be it before or during. Howay lads!!   7. Champion. Be nice if we could have the teams sometime soon mind toonpete... They are sorted out on paper so should be online tonight. Unfortunately my net at home was broken last night so couldn't post them.
  8. If it fits around the positions of everyone else then I'll try. At the moment I've only received positions for half the team so not looking at selecting slots yet.

I'll hopefully get round to throwing together the line ups for the away team tomorrow or Wednesday evening so for those of you who haven't sent me a PM (Gaz can you give me an indication of where your four +1s want to play) could you please do so tonight? It looks like Neesy and myself are willing to play a third in goal so another keeper would be ideal. If not I'll end up picking someone from random so everyone has as much time outfield time as everyone else. Cheers!
  11. We got the results midweek and yesterday, it is now time to help ourselves. If we aren't good enough to beat a relegated QPR then we don't deserve to be in this league. An away win, a goal from a corner and a good performance from Cabaye please........
  12. It makes sense. All subs will happen in two quick waves therefore maximising playing time. It also means whoever volunteers to go between the sticks aren't stuck in goal for too long.
  13. We'd be safe now if the officials had spotted their handball injury time winner against us .....
  14. With 15 players in each team you can make it nice an even if you have three nominated keepers (who won't take breaks) and split the game into three. All outfield players would be off once and once only. Not sure if games are 45 or 60 mins but here's how it would pan out for a 60 min game ... players 1, 2 and 3 are keepers. First 20 mins - players 1 (k), 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 Middle 20 mins - players 1, 2 (k), 3, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 ,15 Last 20 mins - players 1, 2, 3 (k), 4, 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 15 The ref can easily stop as close to possible to these times and allow the quick subs to be made. The only thing that would knacker this would be if anyone picked up an injury but this would have to be sorted amongst the players themselves. In theory, I could make 3 best fit lineups if we went with this.
  15. Away players - send me a PM with your preferred and secondary position and I'll see where we have multiple/no players per position. Those who don't reply can fill in the gaps. Also let me know if you'd be willing to do 10 (or more) minutess in go as I'll have to draw it out of hat if no-one steps forward. I don't mind jumping in for 10 minutes if it means I can have the rest outfield.
  16. It isn't just the smoke bombs though. At the end of the West Brom away game it sounded like someone set off a banger right in front of the exit (inside the ground). Not sure if it was thrown from somewhere else but it let off a huge bang.
  17. Keeping my fingers crossed for a Sunday game but I can see why they'd want to feature it on the Monday. Sunday is fairly easy (I'm currently living in Northampton so not too far away) but Monday night means I'll need to take a half day off work, rebook train tickets, organise a hotel for the night and either have a ridiculously early morning or take another half day. For those traveling from Newcastle or further afield it's a complete joke! Considering we've already paid £40 and many have already booked trains/flights, it just shows how undervalued the current football supporter is.
  18. I have a rant every time our fans do it. I was two rows back from one at Wigan and we couldn't breathe for 10+ mins. All they're doing is increasing the possibility of reduced allocations. Dickheads
  19. Now that Colo is back to take the captain's armband I'd consider dropping Cabaye if Sissoko is fit. Sloppy, half arsed and then all of a sudden he becomes completely reckless and jumps in to give away a foul. Imo the team has been carrying him for the past month and we can't afford to have passengers in CM.
  20. Truly awful first half. Was miles behind play on several occasions and hesitated every time to see what the ref had given. Most of the time he didn't signal He was slightly better in the second but still very nervous to give anything. Imo the goal was in by an inch. I was in row D right on the corner flag so had a good view. Linesman was further away (not sure how as it was a very tame shot) then on his arse. Yet to see it again but I'll stick with what I saw in the split second. I was also at Wigan and called the challenge and handball from chuffing miles away. Just another awful linesman from this season
  21. Got a huge reception at the end when most of the others had already walked off the pitch. Minus a few of his kicks today, he was fantastic. My man of the match
  22. What is the sizing like compared to the home top? I'm sure I went for the small in the home top that season and it fits pretty well. There seems to be no mediums or larges out there atm
  23. Annoyingly I didn't have time to have a look around the shops whilst home over the weekend. Where and how much are we talking? Was there a good range of sizes?
