That seemed to work better. I would've liked Defoe to start with Rooney but he doesn't really fit in to the style of the side. Defoe is easier to replace if he's out as well, Bent should come straight into the squad.

I can't really see Arsenal being able to defend Barca for 180 minutes. Chelsea and Man U have done it pretty well, but Arsenal have nowhere near their defensive discipline and Wenger will probaly not tell his boys to stay back. Really, I can't think of any part of the game Arsenal are superior in, especially if they are going into that match with Bendtner and Eduardo as their only strikers still. Barca should beat Arsenal relatively comfortably, I'm just not a massive fan of both their styles of play. Much prefer direct, quick attacking football rather than slow intricate build up.

Man Utd will brush Bordeaux or Lyon aside providing Rooney/Ferdinand/Vidic are fit. Looking forward to their games with Bayern more than the Arsenal/Barca games to be honest. Can see the latter being 180 mins of pretty traingles but not much goal action.

We didn't dominate, put in a much better defensive performance though. The mentality was very much to hold onto to what we had. It might have been different had we not got the early goal though.

You just know Liverpool will get Standard Liege and Fulham will get Valencia or Benfica as well, that's what annoys me.
