I think it would be a great pairing. Gerrad could sort out football matters and Glen could go to the bookies for the lads.(and McDermot could feck off)
  5. I'd be pleased to sign any of them - but ar'n't our biggest problems at the back.I think they want solving first.

  14. The Government forced the issue, yes, but the LARGER Clubs went for it ,without serious objection because they realised the potential of a 'captive audience' I'm talking of a terraced section or area. This wouldn't give an extra 30,000 bodies, but standing would be cheaper, surely. This could help the less financially able to go and if it was on a turnstile basis ,all the better. And ,yes, you would have to twist Freds' arm up his back. How? Well you could start with a petition and maybe non-attendance one matchday before the ticket renewals start arriving. It MIGHT make the Club think twice All I'm arguing for Vic is to make the playing field a bit more level for US, the supporters. You can't disapprove of that ,can you? I know it's like a mole trying to move a mountain ,but ,you have to start somewhere!! I totally reject the idea clubs went for seating. A season ticket is just as valid for terraces as seat And again, what can clubs do to get terraces back when they are ILLEGAL? If you think the clubs will ever listen to fans, go right ahead, I'll put my efforts into things I can change in my life Terraces are not illegal !!! The whole football league would have all seater stadia if that were true. You can't make something illegal for one small section of the whole of Britain. It is purely a recommendation from the Taylor Report http://www.footballnetwork.org/dev/communityfootball/violence_taylor_report.asp Which was taken at face value by the Government and the FA.It's only the top echelons of Football forced into providing all seating - clubs don't get promoted unless they comply but it is not ILLEGAL. You can't change anything in life if you don't even try.If everyone thought like that we'd all still live like serfs. If you don't want to play - no problem,it is much easier to sit on the side lines and critisize. If nothing changes YOU are right, but if things do change YOU will still get the benefits Great painless philosophy for life (I hope you realise how much time I spent looking these big words up) ok its not illegal but if you don't have all seater stadiums you are legally not allowed to admit spectators WTF is the difference? I wait in vain for you to be proven right after which I will sit smugly basking in the benefit of your achievement if your auntie had balls... You can admit spectators but the premier league won't let you play with them. The difference is that you don't have to change the LAW,but you can try and persuade them to change the RULES.You can only do that if you stick together. There is nothing to be proved right or wrong about, was only saying if you tolerate 'things' then nothing will change If ANYONE has the balls they can fight back ,alternately you can lie down and get humped - figuratively of course I keep saying it ,if you don't want to play - no problem
  15. I wouldn't be renewing my season ticket if thats what you mean

  18. right so you're petitioning CLUBS because you want terraces back? FFS No - I'm petitioning nobody Vic YOU where the one who pulled the original poster up about atmosphere and singing. I pointed out what the Clubs could do to help the atmosphere and then had a good whinge on . But why not petition the Clubs? Do you have someone else in mind?? It was, after all,the larger Clubs who forced this situation of all seater stadia (with the help of legislation I know) It gave the Clubs (particularly NUFC)a captive controllable audience, who could be hit with adverts etc and coerced into renewing(because you'd be frightened of not getting a seat) I think if the FAT ONE saw a half empty SJP in the run up to renewal time that he would , perhaps, pull his finger out. Maybe or maybe not BUT - if you happy with the status quo OK then, sit back and enjoy. Just keep on letting FFS take his 1/2 million and shafting you,if thats what you want. But there is no need to snipe at people just because they say that they would like things to change for the better. It only makes you look like someone who can not make a serious point and is just on the wind up.I thought you were bigger than that in reading (and enjoying) some of your previous posts
  19. seriously, why mention atmosphere and singing? what do you expect clubs to do to improve it?? perhaps play music after goal like some of the shitehouses already do? Well, the clubs could could bring back terraces or at least give you the chance of sitting with your mates.IMHO it is (at least at SJP) the all seating arrangement that is mainly to blame for killing the atmosphere. In the 'OLDEN DAYS' of the old covered Leazes End you could stand with like minded people and scream sing and shout until you heart was content.Today you have to sit with loathsome miserable faced twats who arrive late, spend most of the going back and forward to the toilet (bladders the size of walnuts) and leaving early. On the rare occassions that they do sing ,they usually sing the wrong words (Blaydon Races) I know we can't return to that but a terraced area would provide some atmospere. Yes ,the game is sh=t because of money, but also because we let THEM get away with it. 'Face it and get over it ' is surrendering ,isn't it? Atleast the guy is trying to do something I'll join you Red because I sick of being taken for granted by useless greedy bastards, the likes of who run NUFC The rest of you make your minds up - Pull your pants up and fight back or let them keep on f*cking you over An near empty SJP would make the Fat Controller pull his finger out

The twats who play the 'Great Escape' at England games, over and over and over and over.I would pay to see them beaten to pulp with their own instuments
  21. I hope they think on that if they do get SWP they get his fatha as well !!!
  22. End of the day the papers are telling them £15m + SWP's, then why not £25m? Chelsea obscure prices for good players in this league. He's really only worth about £12m, but he's young & English, and Chelsea were supposed to be after him, Spurs wont sell him for anything less now. Good post mate. Ive noticed that you always seem to make sense whenever you post. Keep it up my geordie bredrin (urban slang term for friend). No it's just a mis-spelling of the word brethren - an old word for brother
