  1. When all things are considered,as a Spurs hater, it's been a rather splendid week!

    Alan Kennedy

For my money, I think Irving Nattrass is possibly one of the best, if not the best, most athletic, versatile and accomplished all round defenders I've ever seen at Newcastle. Kennedy was an attacking full back, and fitted into the Liverpool team as the other full back - Phil Neal - was an out and out defensive one. But give me Nattrass, on their own merits, every time. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ It is not often I agree with you, but here you are spot on. I wonder how much he or David Craig would cost to buy, if they were playing today?
  4. absolute crap. Can't swear at the match for them now. Can't go to the Working Mans Club and escape them. Can't bury them under the patio. What is the world coming to?
  5. Want to say I don't mind what Martin Jol posts here...So maybe next time just put an "I' for god's sake and keep your opinion about yourself... I look forward to some Jolly spurs stats in future then.Perhaps,if we are lucky, the Admin could put a direct link up for us so to save MJ the hassle of typing his wonderful missives.(Could someone please direct me to a Newcastle site populated by supporters and not woolly warriors.I must be getting old )
  6. Although you are entitled to it,that is only your opinion. If you need someone to post the balance sheet from another club before you can perform a balancing act with your own ideas you must have a very strange existence indeed. Are you honestly telling me you find this of interest, have you read some of the other rubbish this boy posts? Yes I used the 'general' WE instead of I. I will consider myself castigated
  7. And you really think we give a monkeys' toss ? Spurs fans generally take an interest in how their rivals are faring, whether you do or not is your prerogative. Turnover up 39% and profit after all player trading up to £29.3m ensures another transfer kitty of over £50m available for the next window should the right players become available. The fact that Spurs have also announced a dividend for the first time since 1998 also reflects that, at the present time, they are awash with money. Did I mention Spuds fans? Do you speak for all of them ? I repeat, do you think we give a toss about the boring spurs crap you post on here. Here is a heads up for you it is a Newcastle web site, most come here to post and read about NEWCASTLE. I am not opposed to any visiting fan having their twopenneth, but you abuse the privilege. If you think your awash with money,we're are drowning in cash now.Having said that it is not about cash it is about results, it is about points it is about the game. Things that Spurs don't have so you talk money -silly child
  8. The Lad looks good on the few occasions that I've seen him,but if it means coming into contact McKay again,I'd rather leave well alone
  9. And you really think we give a monkeys' toss ?
  10. There's us thinking that they are a bunch of miserable stupid tw*ts and it turns out that they just stupid tw*ts.Would you credit it some of them have a sense of humor and are quite creative.
  11. its actually 'when i go awondering' getting back to the thread, i will be sending off for this one, im about 60/40 chance of getting 1 ... and im the 40 > No it's not. The lad was right
  12. Are you a believer in the Sabbath like? I'm a believer in football first, and my religion has F.A. to do with you and is between me and my God
  13. Is anybody else, like me, sick to F*CK of playing our games on Sunday? For me it spoils the whole weekend.
  14. All the best to you Bob,fight on.
  15. Don't be daft. I've never been known for sticking up for scousers but thats been sung by the Kop since the 60s,regardless of what Celtic and Fulham say. The U.K. chart hit was also sung by scousers - Jerry and the pacemakers
  16. Can I just state for the record ' Mr Riley you are a massive ,MASSIVE TW*T'. Thank you.
  17. He fell down the stairs during the 2nd goal celebrations. The poor sod got in late, had to get a steward to show him to his seat.Tw*tted himself falling down the stairs.got back to his seat just after the start of the second half ,thanking the girl from St John's with a big cuddle . then collapsed just after the third goal, and was taken out again. He had a MASSIVE shiner ,we could see the size of it from 10 rows behind him. - I hope he is alright and it wasn't his first game at SJP
  18. The thing is, if he wasn't a Newcastle player, I'd love Ameobi. He's like a comedy character, trying to get the ball and inevitably falling over something. Classic Much like Bramble. Anyone old enough to remember Arthur Horsfield ?
