    Chimbonda

I know the media transfer rumour machine has gone into overdrive. So I hope and pray that the ones linking us to Chimbonda are drivel. We can do without mercenary toerags and their equally unsavoury agents joining us
  2. I agree, the difference in the passing range was incredible. We got the ball on the floor and made an attempt to play football, it was like a Keegan era in its infancy. We got all the basics right, we just severely lack any cutting edge. Totally agree. It was a breath of fresh air to see them trying to play the ball around and Given not punting the ball every time. 4 players in Africa 4 players injured 1 player (?)on bail Keegan 2 days into the job I don't think we did badly, kept a clean sheet . Things,as they say,can only get better.
  3. There was an incident on the pitch,I think it was another of Nolans' tackles ,and everyone jumped out their seat, and some TWAT hoyed a full cup of scalding hot bovril into the crowd below. The same thing happened about 15mins later.Hope the bastards lose their season tickets and get prosecuted. It is always the same with late kick-offs the ground is full of gormless crunts who,ve had too much drink. The useless sod next to me was paralytic and fell his seat three times
  4. Went to my first game in1969 Against Sheffield Wed - 13 Aug (Wednesday Night)
  5. You're trying your best to hide it, but I know you're overjoyed really. I really wish I were. Honestly; I really wish I could be overjoyed at this appointment. Maybe it's because I'm now in my 30s that I think it smacks of getting back together with a girl you liked when you were in your teens. It's just not the same, not at all. Imagine if we were to appoint someone with his qualifications and record, but who didn't have that sentimental connection. Doesn't quite bear thinking about. Incidentally, before some monosyllabic twunt chimes in, this doesn't mean I don't support Newcastle Utd. It just means I have more than two black and white brain cells to rub together. You're not alone
  6. Bollocks Watched it ALL, home and away since 1969 ,and I'm amazed that we've missed another opportunity to appoint a manager to take us forward. Just in case you didn't realise, all through the 'Keegan Era' we played lovely football we were everyone's second team and we won FECK ALL Is amazing how many people forget this, we won nothing, are people hoping that he will install the exact same style of football, against the likes of Rooney, Ronaldo etc and get better results? Him at nufc was the peak of his career, that was 12 years ago, he;s been out o football for 3 years now, football is a whole different ball game. P.S. How is Keegan going to improve our youth squads- same way as last time??

Pray-mat out, 'Please God Not Mr Hughes,Thank you.'
  10. Did they have the third or fourth best home record last season? Nevertheless, he is a bung-taking saggyfaced twitcher. Stop sitting on the fence and tell us what you really feel

    Paul Merson

He's got only himself to blame. you know a lot about addictions ? I know about Jane's Addiciton. Bet you don't. Drugs and sherbet
  12. I think it's as funny as feck - yes they are bitter and obsessed and hate anything slightly North of them, but that makes it even funnier. The bile and invective always cheers me up no end. The conspiracy theories and transfer hopes are the stuff of legend. When the Black Dog of Depression comes a calling the SMB is a sure way to make you howl with laughter.
  13. When there was terracing you could stand with your mates, and like minded lunatics, and sing and shout yourselves hoarse. If, or usually when, the opposition scored , we sang louder. We would not let the away fans out sing us - it was a point of honour( I know that sounds ponsey but it is true) The advent of seating and enforced season tickets meant you were sat beside strangers, people you didn't like, women and kids. That is what has killed the atmosphere in the EPL.It still exists in the lower leagues.
  14. So you think the major journo of the major newspaper in the city doesn't know how to contact the chairman of the football club, right ? The naivety of people on this board never ceases to amaze me Haha, point out where I said that please. You're clearly on the wind-up tonight. I never said he couldn't contact him. You just made that up in your head; it's called a straw-man argument. you're backtracking. The major journo of the local rag is an obvious way of getting contact info of the football club chairman. This is what I said. As usual, its fools who think that because Oliver is an idiot that he wouldn't have this info. Of course he would. He is bound to have it, the same as most or all of the players and officials at the club. You must be pretty stupid if you don't understand that the press aren't the most obvious and common method of getting information like this. How the f*** am I backtracking? You're going mental. What do you mean 'GOING'
  15. f*** jol, f*** him in the ass big sam is the man another gay thread from Decky.  But he spelt most of the last one correctly
  16. Exactly, and I don't recall Parker assaulting people after a couple of pints
  17. Isn't this what the French have been doing to the African nations for years. Sincerely Dog.
  18. We were sh*te ,no ifs or buts about it.If we can't hammer teams like Derby,we can expect nothing again this season.
