  1. I seem to remember more than just ONE point when we were faced with relegation under FS...during the tenures of Dalglish, Gullitt, Souness...but we didn't actually get relegated then. This time it may be rather different.
  2. Ashley, Mort, Llambias, Keegan & the players share the blame. What proportion they share, we'll probably never know. Kinnear too btw. For being a shitehawk. Shepherd as well. And Souness, Roeder and Lee Bowyer.
  3. You say that like it's some sort of revelation, Jonny. Of course they've piped down. Reality bites. Same phenomenon as electing New Labour only to find what we got was the worst government in a generation.
  4. I'm certainly no Ashley apologist, I think he's a piece of shit, but I would like to know one thing: are the players completely free of any collective or individual blame for our current plight?

We don't want you? Who the f*** are you like? Some kind of fan spokesman. I'll go despite the fact i'm almost certain that we'll get beat. I think it's fair to say that if you go there CERTAIN we're down, the team are better off without you on Sunday. It's pretty stupid to be certain, people were like this after the pompy game too, yet i bet they wouldn't be certain they were safe as mackems or hull fans. People have this weird desire to pre-empt the worst case scenario, probably so they can act all cool and "I told you so" when things do go bad. We don't need this crap: How does that do anyone any good apart from cushion your precious heart from the pain if it should happen? Seriously, piss off. I suppose you're not even going to check the other results if we were to draw, because you already n#know? It's just about having a different perspective on life than you, that's all. You're clearly a "glass half-full" sort of person whereas others are more grounded in reality and recognise their glass is actually needing refilled. Some people think Ashley pinched thier glass and sold it at a jumble sale. Some people realised their glass had actually been replaced with a plastic tumbler quite a while ago, but were willing to overlook this fact for the sake of a novelty Shearer sticker having been slapped on the side of it, by the dodgy Cockernee landlord in a desperate attempt to cover up a crack in the tumbler.
  6. Aye, it's class. I've loved watching the likes of Henrik Larsson, Jorg Albertz, Giovanni van Bronckhorst and others play up in Glasgow and pick up the local accent. Absolutely brilliant to listen to. But Brian Laudrup's was the best by far.

Agreed. Aye. Must be a bummer for Keegan Bandwagon Jumpers (90s version) to realise they backed the wrong horse. Still, at least Rangers are gonna win the SPL, so there's something to cheer you up.
  9. At least it was just your mam. Try explaining it to your woman.
  10. Meanwhile, I've just worn a hole in my monitor screen. Thanks a fucking bunch, Bontempi.
  11. Norwegian from Oslo to Edinburgh you can get for as low as £60 round trip, usually it's more like £100-£120 there and back, but still cheaper than £300-£600. Then the bus fare from Edinburgh to Newcastle is surprisingly cheap, around the £6 mark, making it £72 there and back in plane/bus money. British Airways (I belive that's what you usually take) rapes your wallet. djmattis........ I was just about to mention the Edinburgh route as well.
  12. Anyone else forget Sunderland?
  13. Enough of your penis David. Keep the trash talk up, and I'll get this baby revved up.
  14. http://www.1adventure.com/archives/images/gypsy-girl.jpg As is so often the case, a picture is worth a thousand words.
  15. He's a cancer in the dressing room. Hopefully next season the squad will be a Scouse-free zone.
