Nah, we'll shit 'em. Our inability to defend crosses is a major concern, always look like conceding whenever the oppo get the ball in the area and with McBrides ariel ability i see him scoring. An early goal for us though and that will deflate their confidence massively though with their away form over last 2 seasons. Excuse me, would you mind just not countering my unbridled optimism with reasoned logical argument? I'm managing (but only just) to hold together some semblance of serenity here by hanging on to the sheer, self-indulgent hope that maybe tonight's result could maybe just be the green shoots of recovery. I certainly don't need you reminding me of the frailty of our defence, midfield and attack in such blunt fashion. I'm on the brink here pal... Is alreet man we'll shit em. Attaboy!

Agreed. On the upside KK is the kind of manager that breeds loyalty in certain types of players. Young and gullible ones perhaps? Or is it more likely that this is just wishful thinking on your part?
-
Aye. I reckon we'll shit 'em.

I tell you what - next time one of these "relegation would be good for us" rent-a-mongs suffers the misfortune of stubbing their toe, I'm going to send Catmag round to heal the pain by removing the whole fucking leg with a chainsaw. And no anaesthetic.
-
Christ Al-fucking-mighty. Never underestimate just how moronic some of our so-called support can be, eh? Relegation's now being seen as a panacea for all the club's ills? Well I just hope none of the twats saying this are medics; I'd hate to think the sort of havoc they'd cause in a casualty ward.

Lunatic! At least you were doing it in the middle of the night!

Another 2 hours drive after bypassing your place. Dundee? Aberdeen? How fast you driving?
-
Mine, the only good thing is that I would drive straight past you. Cheeky! Where did you live then?

It had nothing to do with hindsight, I said he was shite on here before we signed him. I had the misfortune of living in Scotland and got to see plenty of him playing for Rangers, only on TV but it was enough as Rangers were given a lot of coverage. He was dodgy when put under pressure and only looked good against the lesser teams when they allowed him to walk out of defence with the ball, when put under pressure he was shite, only good for a laugh. I can use hindsight now and say he was shite for us, I did predict it beforehand. Who's misfortune? Ours or yours?

Yeah, but we don't have any talent to start with. I'd disagree. I think there's copious amounts of individual talent within the team - however, it's hard to see that when results have been as dire as they have been because of disjointed management and poor tactics since all the upheavals of last summer. What is missing is an esprit de corps - team spirit is sadly lacking - that much is self-evident. As far as good practice, well one thing that's been sadly lacking in recent times is mutual respect between players within the squad, between individual players and the manager, and between the manager and the Chairman. That situation in particular, i.e. the relationship between manager and chairman, one would hope (although there's no tangible evidence as yet) should well have improved since the changes at the top. But, I don't think Keegan has yet shown that he's going to be able to achieve the sort of equilibrium between players and manager that is needed to produce the consistent individual perfomances, levels of motivation and camaraderie which is required to get a team to gel and become a well-oiled machine like Wenger has done repeatedly at Arsenal, for example.

Or better still, cover them with a bucketful of sawdust. That always does the trick.
-
You could try using a large tarpaulin, I suppose.
-
Chris Burke? Aye. Why not? If Keegan thinks the likes of Robson, McGeady and McDonald are good enough to play here then why the hell not Burke?
-
OK, clearly they won't be happy until they have picked the last morsels of bloodied flesh from the corpse of this club and have flown back off looking for their next victim.

So what did people think of the above GENUINE attempt to present a serious solution? No Faye? Also, wouldn't it be better having Beye at the back and Geremi in midfield? Aye, come to think of it, playing Geremi at RB would be disastrous. As was proved at home to Liverpool.
-
So what did people think of the above GENUINE attempt to present a serious solution? You're quite clearly taking the piss David. You're still angry with me about that other comment I made elsewhere aren't you.

Diarra wanted a massive wage to come here, remember? Defoe would have chosen Pompey ahead of us, given that they can make European spot this year. Also, not such an upheaval for him moving from Spurs to Pompey, compared to uprooting himself to come to the frozen north.
-
Assuming he's still here, and we're still in the Premiership.
-
Shouldn't be any hiding places on any area of the pitch.
-
Makes you wish Roeder was still manager, then we'd have stood a chance of signing him up.

£19.6million in one night. That's about 32pence per person right across the country. Stick that on the price of petrol per litre. Sorted. Think they already have, tbh.
